Introduction
Hi! @saydie here playing Splinterlands everyday.
This is Exploring the Chaos where I take a look on Chaos Legion cards including thier subsets such as Riftwatchers and the Reward cards, as they brought new abilities and strategies that changes how the game was played.
Last time, I have talked about the old card rewards that we usually get on our daily and season chest and how they were and how they were used as well as their importance to the meta. Now, I will be reviewing the new Soulbound rewards card which replaces them, offering new possibilities to the game and for this post, I will be taking a look at the Water Soulbound Rewards.

Card Stats
Repair will restore the armor of an ally monster that loses the most armor.
Giant Killer allows Swamp Spitter to deal twice the damage to an opponent with 10 or more mana.

Card Stats
Rust reduce the armor of all opponent monsters as long as Noah the Just remains on play.
Dodge gives 25% chance to evade melee and range attacks.
Backfire will deal damage to an opponent when they missed an attack.
Martyr will increase all the stats the monster adjacent to Noah the Just when it was defeated.

Opportunity allows Kulu Mastermind to attack monsters with the lowest health.
Shield reduces melee and range damage.
Enrage increases the attack and speed of Kulu Mastermind when it receives damage

Card Stats
Scavenger increases the max health of Musa Saline every time it deals damage to the opponent.
Shatter removes the armor of the target monster.
Dispel will remove all the positive status effects on the opponent.

Battle 1: Swamp Spitter and Pembrook Nymph

 Lost Magic | Monsters with Magic attack may not be used in battles. |
For this 53 mana battle, we have Lost Magic which bans the use of magic monsters meanwhile Target Practice and Tis But Scratches gives all monsters the Cripple and Snipe ability. Pembrook Nymph as a summoner allows the use of one Gladius card on ranked battle with the Conscript ability but since this is a brawl which already allows the use of one gladius cards, it was able to use 2 gladius cards.
Meanwhile, Swamp Spitter can restore the armor of a monster while dealing range attacks which allowed my monsters to stay longer in play.
Battle 2: Riverboat Captain

 Reverse Speed | Monsters with the lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks. |
For the 2nd battle, we have a 44 mana cap match with Super Sneak and Heavy Hitters which gives the Sneak and Knock Out ability while Reverse Speed which prioritize monsters with lower speed to attack first. When Riverboat Captain attacks Wave Brood, and the Blast deals extra damage to Angelic Mandarin.
Battle 3: Noa the Just and Kulu Mastermind

 Stampede | AThe Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled Monster is killed. |
 Ferocity | All Monsters have the Fury ability. |
For this battle, we have Odd Ones Out which only allowed the use of Odd mana cards and Stampede which allow Trample to activate multiple times. It also have Ferocity which gives the Fury ability on all monsters. Noa the Just removes the armor of all opponent monsters which makes them defenseless.
And it was able to attack Coeurl Lurker with the help of Weapons Training from Kulu Mastermind which gives half of its attack to Noah the Just.
Final Thoughts
The New Water Soulbound Reward cards offers new sets of possibilities for the Water element with the addition of new abilities adding to the meta. The notable cards on this set for me was Swamp Spitter with its Repair ability and Kulu Mastermind with the Weapons Training ability which are both accessible at level 1. Pembrook Nymph would also be a good summoner but first needs to reach a certain level to be useable for the league I am currently playing but it's ability to use the powerful Gladius cards, it will be very useable for brawls. That said, when all this cards reach their max levels, I believed that it will make the current Kelya water team more powerful among the other elements.
