My thoughts about a battle played with the GOBLIN SHAMAN.

Hey Guys.

What’s Up? How are you all holding up?

I hope that you all are well by the grace of Allah.

As promised I'm back again with another post of splinterlands. It's a new entry for this week's share your battle contest. In this post, I'll be sharing one of my ranked battles of splinterlands played with the fire splinter. I'll be discussing the lineup and strategy of this battle in this post. I'll also be sharing each and every detail of the monsters that I've used in this battle. I think I'll be able to explain the whole battle and describe every possibility of it. I hope you'll like it and it'll be enough for anyone to understand the battle strategy. Also, I hope that you like my thumbnail, I downloaded the background from here. It's a great site to download high-quality images that can be used as the background of thumbnails or wallpapers. And I downloaded the image of Goblin Shaman and the image of the logo of Splinterlands from https://www.splinterlands.com. And then I used adobe photoshop to complete it.

Now, let's get back to the main topic.

As you can see in the screenshot that I've added here, I used the Living Lava in the first position. The Living Lava is a rare untamed monster that play's under the fire splinter. This monster is mostly used in battles in the first position for its powerful melee attacking ability, shield, and shield ability which is really helpful against any kind of melee and ranged attacks. Which helps it to stand longer and hold its position for a longer period.

Then in the second position, I used the Goblin Shaman. The theme card of this week's share your battle challenge contest. The Goblin Shaman is a common monster that plays under the fire summoner. The main reason that I use this card in my battles is the weaken ability of these monsters. This ability decreases the life of all enemy monsters by minus one(-1). It really does make the enemy weak. It was helping a lot during my battle. It was the one that weakened my opponent's monsters and that made it easy for my monsters with opportunity and sneak ability to take down the enemy monsters standing in the end/middle of the line. They were in the end, had a little life. But, they were more than enough to make me lose the battle. But, with the help of the Goblin Shaman my monsters took down those monsters easily and it was a huge help in the winning.

Then in the 3rd position, I've used the Elven Cutthroat. The Elven Cutthroat is a common neutral monster. It can play under any summoner. This card is really useful for its sneak ability and attacking speed also it costs only a 3 mana cap to use in battles. Which is helpful in taking down the monsters in the end easily and first.

Then I put my Serpentine Spy in the 4th position. The Serpentine Spy is a common untamed monster that plays under the fire splinter. I thought it wouldn't be much of a help. Because the enemy's Serpentine Spy was faster in attacking because of the summoner that the enemy used. But, it took down my Elven Cutthroat instead. The Elf was a good card but I was glad that it didn't take down my Serpentine Spy. Which helped me, because in the next step my serpentine spy took out the enemy's Serpentine Spy and it also took down other cards with its strong blow.

Then I used the Kobold Miner in the 5th position. The Kobold Miner is a Common Beta monster that plays under the fire splinter. I use this monster in almost every battle of mine that I play using the fire splinter. Mostly in the battles with less mana cap. The reason is, this monster costs only 2 mana caps to use in battles and it has the sneak attacking ability also with the help of the summoner it can attack using 2 melees attacking abilities. Which makes it quite strong even for a common card that costs only a 2 mana cap.

In the end, I used the Fire Beetle. It's a common beta card that plays under the fire splinter. I mostly use this monster in my battles because of its snipe ability and also it costs only 3 mana caps to use in battle. And the snipe ability is really useful in battles. Like it took down the opponent's SPARK PIXIES in the 3rd round, which was helpful.

It was all about my lineup and also about the reasons to put each card in its position including the abilities of the cards.

Strategy

In all of these battles I used the same strategy. It was to use my monsters with snipe, sneak, and opportunity ability to destroy the opponent's lineup completely from the inside. And in all of those battles, I use a strong card in the first position which has a shield, void, or healing ability. I do that cause it helps that card to hold its position for a long time while my other monsters take down the enemy monsters..

Did I use this Goblin Shaman often?

Actually I don't use it in all of my battles. But, I use it most of the time. And the weaken ability of this monster has been always helpful in my battles.

This was all about the battle, lineup, and strategy. Now let’s know about this card which is the main topic. The GOBLIN SHAMAN.

GOBLIN SHAMAN.

Goblin Shaman.png

The Goblin Shaman is a common beta card. It plays under the fire splinter. It costs only 3 mana caps to use in battles. The main reason people use this card in the first place is the weaken ability of this monster. But, this monster becomes amazingly strong when it's upgraded and reaches a higher level. The attacking speed of this monster doubles, it gets magic attacking ability, it also gets a new ability besides the weaken ability which is slow ability. This makes this card so much powerful and I don't think there are many monsters that cost only 3 mana caps and has all of these abilities.

Explanation about this card from SPLINTERLANDS (splinterlore).

Goblins are everywhere in the Burning Lands, but they are all larger and stronger than the Goblins of Anumün. The Goblin Shaman of the Smoldering Forest is especially skilled in slowing and weakening their enemies with enchantments. Many of them can hypnotize with a simple gaze from their blood-red eyes.

The question may have already appeared that I’m writing a post to join some contest. But where are the details about the contest?

Here are the details.

There amazing thing is ongoing in this blockchain for almost 3 years maybe and I'm a part of it for more than 2 years. So, it's not something new but I think there's still someone who doesn't know about it or isn't a part of it yet.

This amazing thing is the ongoing contest of splinterlands. By now I guess most of you know what SPLINTERLANDS is. It's an online card game. Though it's not only a game, in here you can earn by playing, trade by buying and selling. You will also get amazing rewards in the daily quests and also in season-ending quests. This is one of the best card games that I've ever played. The fun thing is, there's a lot of cards/monsters to use in battle. And when I say a lot, I mean it. And all of them have their own specialty, separate types of powers and so many types of special abilities. There are even some summoners under those the cards play. These summoners also have their own ability which affects the battlefield. This is really amazing. This gives you the chance to think of hundreds of strategies for your battle. Believe me, once you start playing this game you'll fall in love with it.

All of these are my personal opinion about @splinterlands and their contest. And if you find it interesting, you are welcome to join SPLINTERLANDS. I'm also putting my referral link to make it easy for you to join if you want. There are already some people who joined splinterlands using my refer. You’re also welcome to join.

And my today's post is to join this week's contest of sharing your battle arranged by the @splinterlands team. To join this contest you'll need to create a post where you'll need to share a battle of yours which you should play by the rules that are given in the contest. You'll also need to answer some of the questions that @splinterlands asked in the announcement post of the contest. And this week's rule is you need to use a specific monster in your battle named The GOBLIN SHAMAN. After creating your post and posting it on this blockchain, you'll need to share it on any social media and put both your post link and the link from the social media on the comment section of the announcement post of this week's contest. You'll need to follow up on these things to perfectly join this amazing contest. I'm also putting the link to this week's contest below in case you want to join it.

Something more to add:-
In the list of the monsters that I used in this battle, Elven Cutthroat and Serpentine Spy were my most favorite cards. There's a reason behind me using the word "was". I had most of the cards and summoners at the top level. It was then when splinterlands was known as steemmonsters. I had a gold card of this Elven Cutthroat. It had superfast attacking speed, more life capacity, increased melee attacking power. And with these two standing in the front and end of the line, my battles were most likely half won. But, I had some big crisis in my life and I was under so many money problems that I had to sell all my steem+sbd, crypto holdings even all the cards and summoners of splinterlands to get rid of these problems. I still haven't fully recovered from these problems and trying to build my game profile slowly. I hope someday I'll be able to make my account as strong as before.

I really hope that you enjoyed reading my post and also enjoyed my battle. And as always it felt good to share my opinion about something with everyone. I'll be back among you all soon with another battle of mine to share it. So, stay tuned guys.
See you again in my next post. Till then stay happy, stay healthy. Take care. Also, stay at home and use a mask whenever you go outside. Because the second wave of covid-19 has started already and it's going to be more dangerous than ever. Good Bye.

Thank you for your precious time and afford to read my post.
