Cancer is a terrible disease that does not distinguish between age, sex, social class, race, etc.
At the initiative of the WHO, October 19 has been taken as the world day against breast cancer, and others call October as the pink month, taking this color as a symbol of solidarity with those people who face this horrible evil.
Todos conocemos a alguien que ha luchado o está luchando contra este mal, personas valientes y valiosas, que nos recuerdan como la vida es tan corta, y como muchas veces nosotros nos enfocamos en cosas tan mundanas y banales, que solo en el momento en que vemos de cerca casos como estos, es que comprendemos lo bella que es la vida, y como muchas veces la derrochamos.
Nosotros en la organización de Karate-Do a la cual pertenezco tenemos una tradición, consiste en colocarnos en una posición llamada "kiba dachi", que traducida del japonés significa "posición de jinete", y lanzar al aire una serie de "zukis" o golpes con la intención de liberar muy buena vibra y mucha energía para esos héroes anónimos que diariamente luchan contra el cáncer, ese mismo día, cambiamos nuestros cinturones de colores o negros por uno rosado, y luego de entrenar fuertemente, hacemos esta actividad.
We all know someone who has fought or is fighting against this evil, brave and valuable people, who remind us how life is so short, and how many times we focus on things so mundane and banal, that only at the moment when we see cases like these closely, it is that we understand how beautiful life is, and how many times we waste it.
We in the Karate-Do organization to which I belong have a tradition, it consists of placing ourselves in a position called "kiba dachi", which translated from Japanese means "rider position", and throwing into the air a series of "zukis" or blows with the intention of releasing very good vibes and a lot of energy for those anonymous heroes who daily fight against cancer, that same day, we changed our colored or black belts for a pink one, and after training hard, we did this activity.
La próxima vez que pienses que tu vida es aburrida, o que digas "Dios, porque esto me pasa a mi" piensa que esas personas enfrentan este problema con la mejor de las actitudes, y literalmente, viven cada día como si fuera el último, así que levanta ese ánimo y envía tu buena vibra a esos grandes luchadores de la vida...
The next time you think that your life is boring, or that you say "God, because this happens to me" think that these people face this problem with the best of attitudes, and literally, they live each day as if it were the last, so lift that spirits and send your good vibes to those great fighters in life ...
