Hello everyone, honestly friends, as I mentioned that we’d gotten a bit out of our Sunday barbecue routine, well, with today’s lunch—Monday, the start of the week—what better way to kick it off than with grilled chicken drumsticks and thighs, a strip of pork ribs, and various salads?

Well, we know that for a barbecue—in this case chicken drumsticks and thighs—we first light the charcoal; once it’s turned into embers, we put the meat on the grill. Meanwhile, I’ve got a pot on the stove to cook the rice and beets, along with the eggs, while the meat cooks, and also a fish burger for my granddaughter’s enjoyment, haha.

Once the beets, eggs, and rice are cooked—and I’ve let them cool down a bit—I start by grating the carrot, then the eggs, the tomato, and the rice (which is already cold), as well as the lentils I prepared the day before. With all that ready, the only thing left is for the meat I mentioned earlier to finish cooking.

Honestly, friends, starting the week like this is a blessing, especially considering that the holidays—Christmas and New Year’s—are just around the corner.
Thank you so much for following me and reading my posts. Have a great start to the week.
Yeah, it's a great way to start the new week--eating a delicious and healthy meal. I hope you and your family celebrate the upcoming holidays with joy.
Ah grilled chicken is so good! Also the fish burger on the grill comes out very tasty
It is better to eat things grilled over charcoal than fried in ghee. They are better for our health and also taste better.
