Saludos a todos !, en esta ocasión, vengo a comentarles un poco sobre un tema de gran debate. Mucho se conoce a través de noticias, sobre la situación de crisis que atraviesa mi país Venezuela desde hace muchos años.
En el año 2.019, viví durante 12 meses en Santiago, Chile. Por distintos motivos que en otro post puedo detallar, decidí junto con mi esposa volver a mi país. En ese momento mis hijos Elías y Alice tenían 2 años y 6 meses de edad respectivamente; cuando dí a conocer mi decisión a mis amistades y círculos cercanos, los comentarios no eran buenos, la gran mayoría no entendía porqué en lugar de esto, no tomábamos la decisión de quedarnos en Chile.
Greetings to all, on this occasion, I come to comment a little on a topic of great debate. Much is known through the news, about the crisis situation that my country Venezuela has been going through for many years.
In 2009, I lived for 12 months in Santiago, Chile. For different reasons that I can detail in another post, I decided with my wife to return to my country. At that time my children Elias and Alice were 2 years and 6 months old respectively; when I made my decision known to my friends and close circles, the comments were not good, the vast majority did not understand why instead of this, we did not take the decision to stay in Chile.

Esto me hizo pensar durante mucho tiempo y llegué a la conclusión de que había (y aún hay) mucha incertidumbre en las personas que viven fuera del país al momento de pensar en la posibilidad de regresarse. Muchas de esas personas aún tienen a la mayoría de sus familias viviendo acá. Por eso quise escribir este post, para aclarar, desde mi humilde opinión, la situación actual de Venezuela
This made me think for a long time and I came to the conclusion that there was (and still is) a lot of uncertainty in people living outside the country when thinking about the possibility of returning. Many of those people still have most of their families living here. That is why I wanted to write this post, to clarify, from my humble opinion, the current situation in Venezuela.
Evidentemente hay cosas que son innegables sobre la crisis que aún atravesamos, tenemos crisis a nivel del sistema eléctrico (en una semana estándar, podríamos pasar en total unas 6hrs sin energía eléctrica), tenemos crisis a nivel del sistema de salud pública (los hospitales no tienen material médico ni material de limpieza, todo debe ser suministrado por los familiares de los pacientes, los médicos y enfermeras no son bien pagados en el sector público), el sector educativo también está en crisis, y esto se debe a que muchos buenos profesores y profesionales, salieron del país en busca de un mejor estilo de vida. Corrupción en todos los niveles, en fin, hay muchas otras cosas, en las que prefiero no enfocarme, hay muchos aspectos que juegan en contra de una vida normal en cualquier otro país que sea desarrollado.
Evidently there are things that are undeniable about the crisis we are still going through, we have crisis at the level of the electrical system (in a standard week, we could go in total about 6hrs without electrical energy), we have crisis at the level of the public health system (hospitals have no medical material or cleaning material, everything must be supplied by the patients' relatives, doctors and nurses are not well paid in the public sector), the educational sector is also in crisis, and this is because many good teachers and professionals, left the country in search of a better lifestyle. Corruption at all levels, in short, there are many other things, which I prefer not to focus on, there are many aspects that play against a normal life in any other country that is developed.
A pesar de esto, como todo país, también tenemos muchas cosas buenas. La más notoria son las personas que viven acá, siempre muestran su mejor cara y la mejor actitud a pesar de lo mencionado anteriormente, siempre hay una calidez humana que no es imposible, pero si dificil de encontrar en otros países. Seguido, destaco nuestras playas y paisajes, por ser un país caribeño tenemos mucha diversidad de entornos, en los cuales podemos disfrutar de un buen descanso.
In spite of this, like every country, we also have many good things. The most notorious are the people who live here, they always show their best face and the best attitude despite the above mentioned, there is always a human warmth that is not impossible, but difficult to find in other countries. Next, I highlight our beaches and landscapes, for being a Caribbean country we have a great diversity of environments, in which we can enjoy a good rest.

Hace un tiempo, tuve la oportunidad de conocer a dos turistas alemanes en una isla llamada "Cayo Sombrero", en el estado Falcón. Me causó mucha curiosidad, ya que en ese momento la crisis estaba mucho más intensa. Al conversar con ellos, me comentaron que su hobbie era viajar, y que había ido a muchas playas en el mundo, pero que playa con esa, no había; por eso ellos, a pesar de que a nivel mundial recomendaban no venir a Venezuela, ellos tomaban el riesgo para disfrutar de nuestros lugares porque valía la pena.
Some time ago, I had the opportunity to meet two German tourists on an island called "Cayo Sombrero", in the state of Falcon. I was very curious, since at that time the crisis was much more intense. When I talked to them, they told me that their hobby was to travel, and that they had been to many beaches in the world, but that there was no beach like that one; that is why they, despite the fact that worldwide they recommended not to come to Venezuela, they took the risk to enjoy our places because it was worth it.

Como estas historias, hay muchas, y pienso que Venezuela tiene un gran potencial a nivel turístico que no ha sido aprovechado. Espero tengan la oportunidad de conocer en algún momento mi país para que se deleiten en nuestros paisajes. No somos un país perfecto, tenemos muchos defectos en todos los niveles, de hecho, ¿qué país no tiene defectos?, todo se trata de tu forma de pensar, del lente con el cuál ves las cosas.
En mi próximo artículo, me adentraré un poco más en la situación económica que atravesamos, las oportunidades y las amenazas que circulan en ese ámbito.
There are many stories like these, and I think that Venezuela has a great tourist potential that has not been taken advantage of. I hope you will have the opportunity to visit my country at some point to enjoy our landscapes. We are not a perfect country, we have many flaws at all levels, in fact, what country does not have flaws, it's all about your way of thinking, the lens through which you see things.
In my next article, I will go a little deeper into the economic situation we are going through, the opportunities and threats that circulate in that area.

Buen post amigo, los que seguimos en el país cada dia luchamos ante la crisis, sobre todo a nivel salarial y se que como en mi caso la mayoría nos quedamos trabajando solo por vocación y porque nos gusta lo que hacemos, tanto educadores como personal de salud somos muy mal pagados, saludos 😁

Hola @gtorrellas .Un post lleno de emociones sinceras! Y sin duda Venezuela es un país de oportunidades, como nuestra gente no hay y eso es lo que hace esta tierra mas hermosa, la capacidad de lucha junto a el empuje y el amor por lo que hacemos los Venezolanos nos hace diferentes.
En otros paises no entienden cosas como hay que resolver,eso solo lo sabemos los que pasamos apagones , crisis alimentarias y de salud.

Buen post. Mi mayor deseo es que los venezolanos volvamos a tener el derecho de elegir, de votar. Hay millones en el extranjero y no nos dejan inscribirnos para participar en los procesos electorales, nos están arrebatando un derecho constitucional.
Creo que un buen primero paso para realmente avanzar como país, es que se restablezca la democracia.

Muy cierto nuestro país es muy hermoso y tiene tantos recursos, lastimosamente hemos pasado por muchos problemas y hay que solventar muchos. pero esto ha servido para volvernos más fuertes y tener una óptica diferente y poder valorar lo que tenemos. también es evidente que debemos de cambiar de actitud y seguir creyendo que si podemos salir de esta situación ya que es trabajo de todos
