Este es un pequeño limonero que tenemos sembrado en la parcela familiar. Una amiga de mi padre lo tenía en su piso, en la terraza en una maceta. No estaba muy bien cuidado, de hecho, estaba a poco de perderse... Hace un par de años lo "adoptamos" y lo llevamos al terrenito donde cultivamos nuestras frutas y verduras y lo trasplantamos a la tierra madre, al suelo. Han sido meses y meses de mimos y cuidados, de buenas vibraciones. Ahora controlamos los riegos y combatimos las distintas plagas que atacan a los cítricos (hongos, orugas, etc); así que todo este esfuerzo va dando (je, je...) sus frutos, y el pequeño limonero ya está cargado de también pequeños limones que de seguro disfrutaremos el próximo invierno en nuestra mesa.
This is a small lemon tree that we have planted on the family plot. A friend of my father's had it in her home, on the terrace in a pot. It was not very well cared for, in fact, it was about to be lost.... A couple of years ago we "adopted" it and took it to the little plot where we grow our fruit and vegetables and transplanted it to the mother earth, to the ground. It has been months and months of pampering and care, of good vibrations. Now we control the watering and fight the different pests that attack citrus fruits (fungi, caterpillars, etc.); so all this effort is paying off, and the little lemon tree is already full of little lemons that we will surely enjoy next winter on our table.
