Y el fuego llegó sin avisar, como lo hacen siempre los grandes incendios. Y el llanto de la serranía comenzó a oírse con más y más fuerza según iban pasando las horas, prolongándose durante días y calando en los pechos de los habitantes de la zona. Y todo se quema y se vuelve ceniza. Los animales huyen desorientados y el monte llora y llora y no cesa en su doloroso llanto. Fueron días tristes y los esfuerzos parecían no servir para nada. Y la vida se duele. Y se esfuman hogares... Sólo dos noches de tormenta y lluvia lograron frenar el desastre.
And the fire came without warning, as big fires always do. And the wailing of the mountains began to be heard louder and louder as the hours went by, lasting for days, and penetrating the chests of the area' s inhabitants. And everything burns and turns to ash. The animals flee in disorientation and the forest weeps and weeps and never ceases in its painful weeping. Those were sad days and the efforts seemed to be for nothing. And life hurts. And homes vanish... Only two nights of storm and rain managed to stop the disaster.
