Hace justo un año fue que sembré en la parcela familiar un pequeño melocotonero, el cual adquirí en un vivero en su tercer año de crianza. Hay que estar muy pendiente; labranza, abono, riegos... Mas casi siempre el trabajo y la dedicación da sus frutos (nunca mejor dicho) y éste es uno de esos casos. Veinticinco piezas de fruta he contado en mi pequeño arbolito, ¡espero poder disfrutarlas en familia el próximo verano!
Just a year ago I planted a small peach tree on the family plot, which I bought from a seed nursery in its third year of growth. You have to be very attentive; tilling, fertilising, watering.... But work and dedication almost always pay off (never better said) and this is one of those cases. I have counted twenty-five pieces of fruit on my little tree, and I hope to be able to enjoy them with my family next summer!
