Thanks to technology we communicated daily and any time we were not busy. Obviously we missed each other immensely, so we decided that at the end of my semester I would go on vacation, he was more than ready to receive me but I had not yet completed my studies, so that's why we decided to spend those vacations together, because we thought it would make the time shorter for when I was really ready to go with him.
It is difficult for us to believe in love for miles, since it is not an easy task, but it is possible!!!

No fue una decisión fácil de tomar, pues sabíamos que estaríamos separados por mucho tiempo, yo tampoco quería abandonar mi carrera universitaria y a él se le presentó la oportunidad de emigrar, ninguno de los dos quiso ser algún obstáculo en nuestros caminos, sabíamos que ambos caminos eran importantes para cada uno, fue entonces cuando nuestra relación tomó pausa (Lo digo de esa manera porque realmente no tenía seguridad de si volveríamos a encontrarnos o no).
Gracias a la tecnología nos comunicamos a diario y en cualquier momento que estuviéramos desocupados. Obviamente la falta que nos hacíamos era inmensa, por ello decidimos que al terminar mi semestre yo iría de vacaciones, ya él estaba más que listo para recibirme pero yo aún no había culminado mis estudios, por eso esas vacaciones decidimos pasarla juntos, pues pensábamos que así se nos haría más corto el tiempo para cuando yo realmente estuviera lista para irme con él.

Mis vacaciones fueron en julio de 2021 (para la fecha que él se fue, ya habían pasado 5 meses de estar separados). A penas termine mis clases inmediatamente la semana siguiente ya estaba viajando, ya que mis vacaciones solo serían dos meses

Volvimos a nuestra realidad, separados por kilómetros de distancia, luego de pasar 8 meses de haber regresado de las vacaciones, la paciencia no era la misma, la comunicación no era como antes… Esta vez se nos hizo más complicado, a veces solía estar muy cansada, y me dormía temprano, durante el día era muy poco lo que hablábamos. De cierta forma nos estábamos cansando de esperar💔, simplemente dejábamos pasar los días hasta que llegara el momento de irme.

No puedo negar que los kilómetros de distancia pueden dañar muchas relaciones y que nada es tan fácil como parece. Cuesta mucho estar lejos, cuando realmente quieres estar cerca. Lo que siempre me ayudaba a tener ánimos de seguir era recordar que el problema llega cuando ocurre lo contrario. Cuando se está cerca y se siente que estás lejos, que la persona que quiere hacerte daño lo hará aun así estén cerca. Cuando sabes que esa persona vale la pena hay que tratar de mantener la relación porque aunque cueste mucho trabajo, merece la pena.
I can't deny that miles of distance can damage many relationships and that nothing is as easy as it seems. It costs a lot to be far away, when you really want to be close. What always helped me to have the courage to go on was to remember that the problem comes when the opposite happens. When you are close and you feel that you are far away, that the person who wants to hurt you will hurt you even if they are close. When you know that person is worth it, you have to try to maintain the relationship because even if it takes a lot of work, it is worth it.
