RE: Hive vs Steem Stats - Saturday, October 24, 2020

That's kind of a sad picture @penguinpablo, except for the fact that the people who still do use Hive seem to be a lot more engaged in the process. Stxxm is just becoming more and more of a straight "token harvesting" destination; there's barely a handful of people posting there for the actual social aspects.

Bottom line is that nobody (externally) seems very interested in either project... if you look at the ratio of daily trading volume vs. market capitalization, it's utterly anemic and pathetic, compared to most blockchain projects trying to go anywhere, at all.

I think we have a big challenge. We need to come up with ways to connect HIVE into more of the social/engagement networks out there. One way to go about this, is to add tokenised comments to just any network, or brand blog, or personal blog. We need to push those ideas plus help to onboard those services, like b2b approach. Not just marketing, but all the business elements of b2b business that's needed to onboard. Added to that we need to offer the work and tech to integrate these 3rd party services. "When the market doesnt come to us; We come to the market", it's as simple as that. Question is: Who is in for such approach? We need organisation, create some real service concepts, implement the tech required to support the concepts, create a well articulated proposition (or multiple), create teams of sales people, products people, project people, system integrators, backend developers, frontend developers etc etc. Owww, we also need to make sure, some incentives are available for all those participating in this organised approach bringing HIVE to the market. Working for free, is simply doomed.

I thought this is a free speech platform where there is no need to change words to hide them from censors. Where you can just say STEEM. Unlike say Facebook.
