Thank you @penguinpablo great charts. I´m new in Hive, and trying to understand correctly. I have a question, if you could please clarify it for me.
Based on the chart "New Accounts Created", daily accounts creation is consistently growing every day for the last 10 weeks. In line with other indicators, like posts, comments and even transaction.
By other hand, when I look at this chart made by @arcange (another great work to help us understand Hive stats):
It seems that active users is flat.
What am I missing here?

Registered users is growing, but active users is flat. It seems that for every new users an older user stops using Hive. Or maybe some new users don't even use Hive at all.
Yes it seems I guess because of my recent experience, that the registration and the onboarding process is at least confusing, and sometimes frustrating.
Or people is forgetting their keys, or they give up too early.
This dynamic is derailleur and we are missing the chance to grow our base exponentially.
According to my estimations we could have doubled active user base in the past 12 weeks.
For some reason this is not a subject to discuss and fix? Don't we need to grow?
Let me know where should I suscribe and discuss to be part of the solution.

Hi, what method did you use to sign up? We are a decentralized platform, what that means is there are different ways/providers to get a hive account. Some sign up methods are optimized while others aren't. https://signup.hive.io/ --> page where there are the different methods to join hive.
Also there are many dapps/frontends to access hive: hive.blog , peakd.com(this one is the most "user-friendly one") , ecency.com.

Hi i was the one who refers @growthacker! He signs first trough ecency (weird they dont give the three keys) and he lose that account then he creates one trough hiveonboarding (wich im used to choose to refer people in order to monitor his activity)
Altough it´s not impossible to create an account is a big first barrier to novice users. Im used to guide trough the process of adapting but he google how and create his first trough ecency and lost those keys before set the hive keychain. Must admit that ecency is preety easy for account creation.
Yeah I tried creating one through ecency to see the process, and it is easy. Problem is keeping the keys. And they don't explain which key it is... i think it is the owner/active key? in order to do transfers as well as post?
It should be Owner, i mean when you use owner you have all the keys (at least on hive keychain it does)
