Still too close for my liking and the STEEM price is up more than HIVE for some reason. Shows that crypto prices have little to do with real decentralisation and active development. I guess a rich person could manipulate the smaller ones.
Anyway, hope Hive really takes off this year. It's time.
China has 1.4 billion people and is greatly interested in crypto, and the rest need not be said -- we know the connection to Steem now. Yet pound for pound, Steem is VASTLY underperforming compared to Hive even though Steem is still a bit ahead. That suggests that when Hive is truly discovered, it will greatly outperform Steem ... we are basically losing a numbers games at the moment, but not a value game.
Can people access Hive from China? I know they block a lot of stuff. India could be big too. Just need to get a foot in the door with a few influencers and it could take off. We shall see...
