Ecency is currently the third on the Top 20 Apps & (d)Apps list, but I think that it should be at least on the second.
Ecency (previously eSteem) is my favorite Hive app.
It is definitely better than Hiveblog, but I am not sure about Peakd. I tried PeakD a few times, but nowadays I do not really use it.

You earn Ecency Points with almost every activity (posting, commenting, upvoting, reblogging) (you also earn "usage bonus" + "heartbeat"), and you can use Ecency points to boost and/or promote your posts. You can also gift your Ecency points to other users.
