The Titans for years have tried with varying levels of success to be a meat and potatoes smash-mouth team. Run the ball, physicality etc. I do like this style of play a lot but, when it doesn't work it can look quite ugly. It hasn't brought the team a Super Bowl ring either so, may as well change up some tactics.
I have never seen a Titans roster shaped like this, ever. I sense a ton more balance and finesse on this team. At least when compared to past Titans teams. Indeed, the 2024 Titans look prepared to throw the ball significantly more and are also equipped with more speed in the backfield than I've seen in a long time.
I like the vibe of new head coach Brian Callahan. He looks super calculated and seems to know exactly what he wants his team to look like. He seems immersed in the game of football and gives off baby faced killer energy as well.
A lot of this post is simply going to be optimistic speculation because well, I am a die hard fan and this team is ridiculously new as it is. The season is just days away and I'm PUMPED!
Offensive Depth Chart
QB
Will Levis has enormous potential. Not every quarterback is built the same, and the people dismissing him might be in for a rude awakening. He has the intensity of Baker Mayfield, an arm similar to Josh Allen and I believe he's a lot smarter and more athletic than people give him credit for. I am excited to see him perform. As much as I like him, I need to see him in action more. But there really isn't any major holes in his game that I can see. I think head coach Brian Callahan is also the best fit to take him to the next level.

Mason Rudolph is a competent backup.
RB
I love the running backs the Titans have. I believe that Pollard and Spears will be extremely 50/50 in terms of usage in 2024. They seem to be clones of each other for the most part. Instead of two styles of runninng backs, defenses will not get a break and never know what is coming since both Spears and Pollard are extremely well rounded. I love running backs in general and I think these guys can be a sleeping giant in terms of productivity.
Julius Chestnut comes from a small college and has grinded his way to be a respectable RB3. Happy for him.
WR
This receiving group is older yes, I understand, but the potential is undeniably insane. Boyd, Hopkins, and Ridley will get a ton of playing time and I hope that can even allow other receivers to thrive.
Take into account that Pollard and Spears are very good receiving options, this further allows these receivers to thrive. While I think Treylon Burks is likely a bust, this roster could give him a second chance at NFL life. NWI might be the best WR 4.5 in the league too. Rookie Jha'Quan Jackson has really stood out as well.
TE
The tight ends on this team are definitely average, but there are two of them. Chig and Whyle are solid enough. I would love to see them improve though. It's not shown here but there are actually FIVE tight ends on the team. David Martin-Robinson is also on the roster. Perhaps the Titans want more flexibility at this position due to these guys being pretty unproven.
Thomas Odukoya, a native of the Netherlands actually made the team! His growth has been outstanding.
This type of effort by Odukoya is outstanding and can't be understated. For sure helped him make this team.

OL
The offensive line is a bit raw, but also poised to be the best the Titans have had in several years. Well balanced with young high draft picks, and skilled vets. Skoronski proved to be a solid first round draft pick last season, Radunz has improved steadily and enters his fourth season as a starter for the first time, which is cool to see. JC Latham is another high draft pick, hope to see him play well as a rookie, he's shown a lot of promise in the preseason. Cushenberry signed a juicy contract to be a Titan so hopefully he lives up to that. Brunskill was brought on last year to be a utility player but had to start a ton, it's great to see him being more of backup role this season. I'm a bit iffy about Petit-Frere but he is ok and with the line hopefully being better overall hopefully his play will be better, or masked.
Defensive Depth Chart
DL
The defensive line looks pretty freaking strong. Jeffery Simmons and rookie T'Vondre Sweat have the potential to wreck games, for real. These guys are monsters. Joseph-Day isn't a scrub either. This may be the best defensive position group. The secondary could be better.
LBs
The linebackers on this team are a mixed bag, and overall could be the worst group on the defense. Jack Gibbens is out with an for the season due to an ACL tear after having an excellent preseason. The Titans very recently signed Ernest Jones IV from the Rams who supposedly is a massive quality type of steal, let's hope that is the case. Jones did have an impressive 145 total tackles last season and is apparently a great blitzer.

Harold Landry is perhaps one of my favorite Titans at this point. He is a super steady, consistent, well above average outside linebacker for the Titans who has been on the team since 2018. Love this guy. Arden Key is hot and cold, and every other linebacker until proven otherwise is a giant question mark.
Secondary
The Titans secondary is a position group I have high expectations for. L'Jaruis Sneed got a big payday from the Titans and he's labeled as a top three corner in the league, arguably the best. I really hope he can be elite on a team that's NOT the Chiefs. I am pretty confident he is elite, but he just got paid and he's not on a guaranteed contender. Hopefully he doesn't get complacent.

Awuzie, Adams, and Diggs are all older guys that also are new Titans who also need to prove themselves in a similar fashion.
Roger McCreary and Amani Hooker are younger Titans who have definitely shown to be reliable. Hooker does need to stay healthy though. Rookie Jarvis Brownlee Jr. has been getting rave reviews in training camp which is awesome.
Special Teams Depth Chart
Nick Folk is freaking ancient but was excellent for us last year. It's no accident he has been in the league since 2007. I imagine he will be great once again. He was literally the most accurate kicker in the league last season. Before Folk, the Titans were awful for years at kicker.
Stonehouse is a nice punter, no complaints.
Surprised Kinsey is not a returner but Jackson has made some tremendous plays too in the preseason and apparently in training camp.
Wish Spears wasn't returning kicks but with this new return format perhaps this won't be as risky as it was in the past.
The 2024 Titans are perhaps the most mysterious team in the league at this very moment. I'm not gonna get my hopes up but, this team will at least be exciting and a handful for any team in the league any given Sunday. I can't pinpoint at this moment what area they may excel in, but I can't really spot a massive hole either. As bad as last season was, they did win six games in 2023. I think this Titans team has improved in many areas in comparison to that team.
I think LOL.
No matter what, I thank God that I am around to watch this squad suit up for another season.
TITANUP!!!!!!!!!! RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
