Yes, you read that right. 69. Hopefully that makes someone chuckle. In all seriousness, I couldn't believe how many invoices had stacked up since January of 2024 to present. Why is that significant? Because I'm atrociously behind on inventory.

No, not inventory to sell. I track all of my purchases so that when I decide to sell, it's an easy thing for me to report taxes. The only problem is that's a lot of invoices to be behind in logging! I found this out while I was doing some cleaning and realized I not only had a stack of bullion I hadn't put away, but an even bigger stack of invoices I never logged.

So, while everyone is busy Black Friday shopping after spending time with family, I'll be logging almost two years' worth of bullion purchases. Oh joy! Still, it will be a relief once it's done.

Still, there could be worse problems to have, right? Maybe with any luck silver price will come down next year, and I can start adding more to my stack. For now, I'll be in a holding pattern to see if this will become the new normal or if we'll see a pullback.

When I inherited my father's coin collection he didn't leave any of his receipts and I don't think Gramps gave him his receipts either. As far as I know, my original coin collection is at least three generations old.
I've only got my own safely filed away.
