The Royal Canadian Mint seems inconsistent with prescribing a nominal fiat on various different silver coins over the years. One of my critiques of the mint. The $20 for $20 for instance is a bullion coin under a 1/3 oz Troy, and no bigger than a quarter, various themes turned to be a flop but still worth legal tender $20 face value. Maple Leaf One = Troy oz. $32 CAD with a legal tender fiat $5.
