Precious 2.0 : Understanding Tag Qualification

Following on from the last post about the new features of Precious 2.0 the other big change in the way she votes is to do with Tag Qualification. It’s pretty important that all subscribers understand how this works so that Vote Accruals can be used most effectively to promote the precious metals content that the community wants to see.

The HIVE platform has recently introduced the “Communities” feature and while subscribers are free to post from whatever Community or Front End they choose, it’s important to understand how Tags work on these things so that we can achieve our objective of being able to view all our precious metals content together. Different Front Ends for HIVE (such as hive.blog, peakd.com or leofinance.io) display post content according to the Tags used on each post. HOWEVER, they do it in slightly different ways.

One of the most common Front Ends used is hive.blog and it will ONLY look at the first 5 tags on a post so if you make a post using the #SilverGoldStackers tag it will NOT display on the tag for hive.blog unless it is one of the first 5 tags used. In addition to this, if you are posting from a Community page (such as SilverGoldStackers or LeoFinance) then the first tag on your post is reserved for that Community and you will need to include the #SilverGoldStackers tag as one of the remaining first FOUR for it to show up on hive.blog (and all the other front ends) properly.

Clear as mud? Yes, I thought so too.

Ideally we’d all be using the same Front End to post our precious metals content and maybe we can get everyone using the Community page someday, but for now the most important thing is that we use the #SilverGoldStackers tag for our relevant content and we put it up front so that our posts can be collated and viewed properly by the various different front ends. Precious 2.0 has been set up to only vote on content that has the #SilverGoldStackers tag in the first 4 tags. This is because her job is to promote your content properly, but for her to do that we need subscribers to use the tag properly too.

I am @buggedout and I enjoy watching silver porn.
