Moving means decluttering
Now I wouldn't say that silver is part of the stuff in my house that I prefer to part with but I do feel that I bought some pieces in the past, mostly at the beginning of my silver collecting journey, that I wouldn't mind selling and then buying some more weight in silver rather than collective value.
This was done mostly because of the smaller offer on the local marketplace here and just browsing through the pieces that I resonated with and within a certain budget. They are not that great to pack in certain boxes that I use for my silver and therefore they got me thinking to at least offer some online before moving. If they sell, great, and in that case I will reinvest that money for more silver weight and if they won't sell, I will just take them with me to the new place and see if I can sell them there.
Difficult area to sell
Currenty, we're in a more difficult area to sell things, it's been a big annoying for me since we moved here that the marketplace is not that great, and we're kind of bound to a few of the coastal places within a certain range, unless shipping is available. In our new area it means we have a much bigger reach within the same distance and I've already seen many great things for sale over there as I was browsing for some furniture in the past weeks. I could get lucky selling things over there compared to here, but let's first give it a try so I can unlock some spare change to reinvest later.
925 silver coins Spain
Besides the few collective pieces (I think mostly from Italy), I'm also considering to offer the 40 euros silver coins from 2023 and 2024 because they are just 925 silver and I've seen people buying them for 45 euros while having a face value of 40 euros for quite some time now. I have no clue if I would sell them as many are offered but I guess it doesn't hurt to try. At the time I only bought them because the price was exactly the face value and I figured it was smart to buy them. I kept them in the plastic in case I would want to sell them in the future so I guess that was smart.
Honestly, I prefer to swap them for 999 silver instead :)
I guess I have some sorting to do today
While I was already planning on listing some other items today, I will gather my silver pieces and make a selection of things I could offer for sale, and see what happens. I would not buy any new silver before moving probably, but wait until we are moved to make sure nothing gets lost/ends up in other people's hands after moving. But I love the feeling of making space from time to time. It clears the mind, after all!

It's nice, I don't want to part with it because I don't like it, I mean I normally don't even buy colourized but because it has a high face value it made me pull the trigger.
I will check where I have my pics later as today I landed in an unexpected administrative procedure which I need to prep for tomorrow's appointment.

Some nice silver there! Liquidating can be hard especially locally unless you have a trusted dealer who will treat you right. Plus a few extra dollars to help with the move would be nice! How are you holding up?

Well it's not like they're in the way but some of them are boxed and not that special, these particular two aren't really the ones I want to part with most but I see chances as I noticed the prices due to high face value.
Today I bought another silver coin paid from doing only surveys only, love that free silver!
I'm not really that great but not that bad either. I mean, I thought everything was covered to get maternity leave requested but now (even though I digged for that info several times before) it turns out a private medical report is not sufficient for the leave to be requested, while all my visits and birth will be private. FML, seriously!
I will rant about it in a post later though to get it out of my system :)

Eg been ok. Got some health stuff going on. Bloodwork showing some levels off and now I gotta get some tests done she see a couple socialists. I’m ok though. Just been tired so had some bloodwork done and unfortunately some levels off so gotta see Specalist 🤷🏼♂️

Well in the meanwhile I suspect that I broke either my toe (but most likely something in my foot) which I've been trying to tape as I've done in the past with the little toe being broken (yes, I have a history with that lol) but sadly today I came to the conclusion that I suspect it's my foot and at the same time I now have to jump through hoops with the public health system (read: stand in line for at least 30 mins tomorrow morning before opening) to get an appointment to make sure I get my maternity leave approved. Sigh.
So today is not that great but baby seems to be doing well, next week I will probably hear when I get the c-section.

I only have coins, well and a few cufflinks maybe but that's about it..
