What's buzzing, friends!

Ronald Reagan. He was the 40th president of the United States from 1981 to 1989. During this time, he instigated many policies and concepts that still shape the world we live in today. But what inspired some of these concepts? It turns out that Ronald Reagan was a big sci-fi fan. How big? Very big. So much so he had a secret arrangement with Premier Gorbachev of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics about a sci-fi topic. Let's talk about that agreement.

Reagan was responsible for many sci-fi sounding concepts such as the "Star Wars program". This inevitably led to the downfall of the USSR, but before the USSR changed, Premier Gorbachev and President Reagan got together for a talk. The topic was the nuclear arms race, but also aliens.

In one of their first meetings to discuss the arms race and an armistice, they did not make that much headway on de-escalation on nuclear proliferation, but they did agree on one key topic. If aliens invaded planet Earth, both Russia and America would put aside their individual differences and join forces to combat any alien foe. #BestFriends

This secret agreement was only revealed decades later. You can read all about this pretty fascinating story HERE.

We are kind of glad that aliens did not take over Earth, or maybe they did and we just don't know yet... but if they are here, we are sure they keep up with what's happening on D.Buzz, You should. Just scroll down and enjoy.

Hello there, you are missing blocks for days, please set your signing key to null and for Hive's sake, stop asking people to vote for dbuzz as a witness.

Hi thanks for the notification. The developer who manages the witness has gone missing last we heard he was sick with Covid now he's unreachable. I'll get access to the server and make sure it's resolved today.

I'm afraid it's unlikely to be fixed that fast as it's down at least since the HardFork which means a dozen of weeks. Fastest way is just to set signing key to null. I've included a command in my post how to do that using cli_wallet, you only need to replace a nickname with yours.

Ok relaying this to the dev who is managing the server
