Weekly Development Updates for D.BUZZ - Today: MORE WITH IMAGES AND OTHER UPDATES!
What's good, friends?
We believe that images deserve the same attention as the words. We all know that images are one of the most powerful content elements, rivaling text. The problem is that they don’t get the attention they deserve. It is frustrating when you want to share something beautiful, but you can't. It is frustrating when you want to say something beautiful, but you can’t. With our updates today, we hope to take the stress away. We like sharing images fun too. That’s why we welcome images on D.BUZZ.
Will be updating our testnet later on today with a new feature. This new feature takes full advantage of the image rendering system that we spent the last month developing. Whenwhen implemented on the test not later thanon today or tomorrow, youyour will be able to upload images without having to stress or worry about the character counts.
Images won't show up onin the Buzz itself, butBut rather onin a horizontal grid down below the Buzz. You'll have the ability to delete and add images to this grid without affecting your character count at all. Likewise, you can select any image on the grid, and have it rendered large with a click.
With this new update, the broken image issue that some users were experiencing should be a thing of the past. (*cue the confetti).
Additionally, we made improvements in username integration, hashtags, and crypto tickers.
We are very committed to the Hive platform.
It is true that sometimes we dropped the ball; sometimes one of our servers might go down; sometimes a feature we rolled out had unanticipated consequences, but we've been developing actively on Hive for over a year. We have made large strides in developing a stable platform, onboardedwe have on boarded many new and active users, we have given voices to many, and continuedwe are continuing to push the development of unique features and updates to D.BUZZ.
We do apologize when issues happen and we do our best to address them in a timely fashion. We are thankful for your understanding of these matters and we are excited to keep growing with you!
Here are the official update notes.
