1. GENERAL

Farming Tales was born from the desire to put in close connection the world of NFTs with that of real agriculture. The past few months have been particularly challenging for farmers in many parts of the world due to the pandemic. We therefore thought we could enhance the work of many people through one of the fastest growing markets in this period.

Innovation and digitization even of rural realities, such as a farm, could be a step that is not only useful, but sometimes necessary, to help many small entrepreneurs who have decided to spend their lives to produce very high-quality products.

Currently Farming Tales has three farms, two located on the Italian territory to produce honey and saffron, and one located in Tenerife, to produce hemp. Our desire is to expand our network as much as possible, involving more and more small (but excellent) farmers around the world.

Furthermore, one of the most important elements for Farming Tales is the safeguarding of the ecosystem and the promotion of healthy and conscious agriculture. Each of the farmers involved in the project carries out daily actions on their farm to pursue these objectives, and our idea would be to encourage the implementation of "eco-friendly" actions by the users of the project.

2. HOW DOES IT WORK

In Farming Tales everyone can become the owner of some real assets of our real farm: hives, land for saffron, grow boxes for hemp. The ownership of these assets guarantees its owner a small basal production of a certain product (ex. beehives: honey), and also makes it possible to burn special NFTs to increase production.

Furthermore, each owner can make available some production slots of his own asset also for other users, who can burn their NFTs to start their production, paying a small fee to the owner.

At the end of each real season, we will collect the product, and users will be able to decide whether to have it sent home or to delegate the sale to us. In this case, Farming Tales undertakes to sell the product at the best price available on the market, trying to guarantee an ROI of at least 20% to the owner of the product.

3. HOW TO BECOME “OWNER”

HONEY SEASON

To become the owner of an asset it is necessary to complete the NFTs collection associated with that specific season; for example, for the Honey Season it will be necessary to complete the beekeeper's collection. Each collection includes 10 themed tools, which represent the real tools of the farmer.

In the honey season, the first nine items in this collection can be found in seasonal packs or traded on the secondary market. The last element, the most important, is instead distributed directly by Farming Tales via auction. This is necessary to check the total number of available assets, based on the actual availability on our farms.
By burning the 10 elements it will be possible to generate a new NFTs which represents a "land" of our farms, and which guarantees the possession of the asset it represents. Each hive supplies its owner 1 kg of organic honey and contains 20 additional production slots.

SAFFRON SEASON

To become the owner of A saffron plot it is necessary to complete the NFTs collection associated with the saffron season. This collection includes 10 themed tools, which represent the real tools of the farmer.

All ten pieces in this collection can be found in seasonal packs or traded on the secondary market.

By burning the 10 elements it will be possible to generate a new NFTs which represents a "land" of our farms, and which guarantees the possession of the asset it represents. Each saffron land supplies its owner 0.250g of organic saffron and contains 15 additional production slots.

4. HOW TO BECOME “FARMER”

To participate in Farming Tales it is not necessary to own any asset. In fact, anyone can "exploit" the assets held by other owners, paying a small fee, and thus producing their own products.

During the Honey Season it will be possible to buy some Foraging Bees, which can be burned inside any hive. Once burned, each Foraging Bee will produce 1kg of honey, which will be held by the owner of the bee. The fee to be paid to the owner will be deducted from this amount.

In the saffron season the Ephemeral Flower will be burned to produce 0.250g of organic saffron. The fee to be paid to the owner will be deducted from this amount.

Foraging Bees can also be obtained swapping the old Bee Listed from Fungible Farm.

5. UPCOMING SEASONS

Next planned season will be hemp theme, which will work like the Honey Season. Collections will be published with new tools, linked to new seasons. And it will be necessary to complete the collections to become the new assets Owner.

6. HARVESTING PRODUCTS

At the end of each real season (ex. summer for honey, autumn for saffron), real products are harvested on our farms and each user will be entitled to his share. At this point anyone can decide whether to have the product sent to home, or whether to delegate the sale to us, receiving equal value in wax.

FARMING TALES – THE GAME

Farming Tales - The Game aims to offer its players a new NFT-based play to earn gaming experience. Each player will be able to get his own farm, which he will have to grow and improve thanks to the use of NFTs which represent the various pieces and assets of his property.

The Farming Tales game unfolds across the New Waxchester County lands. And the products collected in the respective farms can be sold raw or given to shops in the town of New Waxchester to be transformed into superior quality goods, sold at a high price.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Farms will be the beating heart of the game, each player's home. Everyone will be able to shape his farm as he sees fit, using the strategy he deems most appropriate and directing production towards the most profitable goods.

Each player will become owner of a small farm, which he will have to manage and grow.

Goods produced on farms can be sold for Sestertius, which can initially be spent in the game's internal market.

NEW WAXCHESTER

New Waxchester will be the main town within the world of Farming Tales, and the buildings inside it will be owned by the players, who will have to win them through a craft system following a dedicated sale.

Shops in New Waxchester will be able to receive the products collected on the farms, transforming them into products of better quality that can be resold at a higher price. Shop owners will be able to establish a tax on the processing of raw materials produced by players.

PLAY TO EARN

In the first phase of the game there will be a basic play to earn mechanic, which will allow each player to craft new farm pieces in the form of NFTs. These NFTs can be used by the player himself to expand their farm, or they can be sold on the market. In fact, there are no new sales after those indicated in this document.

For the future, we aim to make the Sestertius a real currency that can be exchanged on Alcor or sed to buy the real products of the real Farming Tales farms.

OFFICIAL SALES

There are currently three official sales of Farming Tales - The Game:

1 . September 11, 2021: starter kit and customization kit, necessary to access the alpha phase of the game. The first assets needed to start the game will already be available within these kits. These assets will be the only ones allowed during the testing phase.

2 . Early October: packs containing the pieces for the construction of the shops in New Waxchester.

3 . Early November: packs containing all the pieces needed for your farms.

The assets contained in these packages are considered the fundamental pieces for the
construction of the farms and of the entire game. However, other small sales will take place with
unique and particular pieces.
