Hello everyone in this community! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your families and loved ones 😌 In my case, I decided to have a different kind of Christmas and stayed home with my boyfriend. This was our first time spending the holidays together in the six years we've been together (we always used to spend them with our respective families). The best part about being away from home is that I sleep amazingly! So, with the necessary determination, today I'm joining the initiative started by @syllem 💚 I invite @yetsimar and @tegoshei to participate too ✨
First of all, I confess... I don't usually make plans or goals at the beginning of each year. Perhaps, years ago, I would mentally prepare myself a bit about what I wanted to do, but I stopped doing it when things didn't work out and I ended up improvising, haha. But after coming out of a difficult emotional period, I've realized that little by little, I've regained that desire to have a plan or two, or rather, a "desire" for what I'd like to achieve as the months go by.
✨💚 Continuing to create products and promote my online store ✨💚
I've been talking about it for a few months now, but around the middle of the year, I got serious about reactivating my online store Suecitos, where I've been offering products I made previously, as well as creating new items. The idea came about after I had the opportunity to attend a flea market (bazaar), and the experience was so enjoyable that it made me want to venture back into creating sewing projects on my own to sell.
It's been quite an emotional rollercoaster, since I'm in a city I don't know well enough, and I'm not exactly an expert at selling, haha. My favorite part is making the pieces, but when it comes to offering them to the public... that's where I fall short. So I would like to improve in that aspect, gain more followers and clients, improving not only the quality of what I offer, but also making my work known.
✨💚 Back to taking courses ✨💚
A few years ago, I used to call myself "the course girl" because I couldn't see a free course being offered in my town without signing up, haha. That's how I ended up taking more than 10 courses (including sewing and pattern making). I was so passionate about it that I couldn't feel right if I wasn't taking a course, haha. Nowadays, tutorials save you from having to pay expensive fees for something you can learn online.
However, some courses do require in-person attendance, unless you want to work in the field, and certification is essential, as is the case with barista training, the art of preparing coffee. I've wanted to learn for years, and I even went to a coffee shop years ago to try to get a job, and obviously, lacking the knowledge, I didn't get it, haha. I'd like to get started this year, although I don't just want to learn barista skills; I'm also dying to learn how to make resin pieces. I need it! Meanwhile, I think online courses can be useful; the important thing is to keep learning something new.
✨💚 Increase my income ✨💚
I think this is something we all want, haha, but in my case, it's something I've been pursuing for a long time, and now that I'm dedicating myself to my own business, I've confirmed that I need more investment capital. But not only that, the workspace I have isn't enough for me to feel comfortable, so I'd like to have the purchasing power to move to a larger place, where I could have a room exclusively for my workshop.
When I worked for others, I had the opportunity to work in their small workshops, and it was wonderful. Entering that space and feeling "welcomed" by an aura of creation, without being bothered by external noise or limited by not having anywhere to put things.
It would be incredible to achieve these goals this year because it would allow me to improve other aspects of my life. So I will continue to strive as I have been and stay positive that I deserve and will have all good things ✨

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad! Espero que hayan pasado una feliz Navidad junto a sus familias y seres queridos 😌 En mi caso, decidí pasar una Navidad diferente y me quedé junto a mi novio, siendo esta, nuestra primera vez compartiendo en estas fechas en los 6 años que llevamos juntos (siempre la pasábamos con nuestras respectivas familias). Lo mejor de estar fuera de casa, es que ¡Duermo estupendo! Así que, con la determinación necesaria, hoy me sumo a la inciativa planteada por @syllem 💚 invito a participar a @yetsimar @tegoshei ✨
Primero que nada, lo confieso... no suelo hacer planes o metas cada comienzo de año. Quizás, hace años me mentalizaba un poco sobre lo que quería hacer, pero dejé de hacerlo cuando las cosas no podían darse y acababa improvisando jaja pero luego de que salí de una etapa emocionalmente dificil, me he dado cuenta de que poco a poco, he vuelto a tener ese deseo de tener uno que otro plan o más bien "deseo" de lo que me gustaría lograr con el pasar de los meses.
✨💚 Continuar elaborando productos y promover mi tienda online ✨💚
Lo he estado comentando desde hace unos meses atrás, pero como a mitad de año, más o menos, me puse seria en la labor de reactivar mi tienda virtual Suecitos, en donde he estado ofreciendo productos que elaboré en su momento, así como creando nuevas cosas. La idea surgió luego de que hallé la oportunidad de asistir a un mercadillo (bazar) y la experiencia fue tan grata, que me hizo querer aventurarme a volver a crear proyectos de costura por mi cuenta para vender.
Ha sido toda una montaña rusa de emociones, ya que me encuentro en una ciudad donde no conozco lo suficiente ni tampoco soy lo que se diga una experta vendiendo jaja mi parte favorita es la elaboración de las piezas, pero, cuando me toca ofrecerlas al público... es donde fallo. Así que me gustaría mejorar en ese aspecto, conseguir más seguidores y clientes, mejorando no sólo la calidad de lo que ofrezco, sino ser capaz de que sea conocido mi trabajo.
✨💚 Volver a hacer cursos ✨💚
Hace unos años, yo me llamaba a mí misma "la chica de los cursos" y es que, no podía ver que estuvieran haciendo un curso gratuito en el pueblo en donde vivía, porque acababa inscribiéndome jaja fue así como llegué a hacer más de 10 cursos (entre ellos, el de corte y confección). Era tanta mi afición a ello, que no podía sentirme bien si no estaba haciendo algún curso jaja Actualmente, los tutoriales te ahorran tener que pagar cuotas costosas por algo que puedes acabar aprendiendo con alguien en línea.
Aunque, hay cursos que sí requieren que estés de forma presencial, a menos si deseas trabajar de ello, siendo indispensable la certificación, como es el caso del barismo, la técnica de preparación del café. Tengo años queriendo aprender e inclusive fui a una cafetería hace años a intentar obtener trabajo y obviamente, al no tener el conocimiento de ello, no quedé jaja Me gustaría ponerme éste año con eso, aunque no sólo quiero aprender barismo, también me muero por aprender a hacer piezas en resina ¡Lo necesito! Mientras tanto, creo que los cursos online, pueden servir, lo importante es seguir aprendiendo algo nuevo.
✨💚 Aumentar mis ingresos económicos ✨💚
Creo que esto es algo que queremos todos jaja pero en mi caso, es algo que vengo persiguiendo desde hace mucho tiempo y ahora que estoy dedicándome a mi emprendimiento, corroboro que necesito una mayor capital de inversión. Pero, no sólo eso, el espacio de trabajo que tengo, no es suficiente para sentirme cómoda, así que me gustaría poder tener un poder adquisitivo que me permitiese mudarme a un lugar más amplio, en donde pudiera tener una habitación exclusivamente para mi taller.
En el tiempo que trabajé para terceros, tuve la oportunidad de hacerlo en sus pequeños talleres y era maravilloso. Entrar a ese espacio y sentirse "recibido" como por un aura de creación, sin ser molestado por el ruido externo, ni limitado por no tener donde poner algo.
Sería increíble lograr estas metas este año, porque podría mejorar otros aspectos de mi vida. Así que seguiré esforzándome como lo he estado haciendo y me mantendré positiva de que merezco y tendré todo lo bueno ✨

Having a goal is essential to pushing ourselves forward. However, there are times when we're pressured by it. So setting small goals one after another is better. It keeps our motivation and makes us feel fulfilled every time we realize it. The goals you set for yourself next year are amazing... They're related to things that make you happy, and the things you enjoy the most. When we think of it that way, such a goal would be achievable! Good luck with your business... you're an amazing and pationate artists, so I'm positive your future customers will feel it through your works. <3

I've always stayed afloat thanks to small goals that I know will ultimately help me achieve something bigger because, as you mentioned, it's more difficult or scary if you set a huge goal to accomplish 😌 I'm currently very motivated with my business, so I want to use that energy to work as hard as I can and, of course, share all my progress on my blog 😇

¡Hola suezoe! En inicio, me disculpo por no haber pasado antes, pero mi PC se dañóy está en reparación ( de momento tengo una laptop prestada jejje).
Las redes sociales son muy valiosas hoy en día para los emprendedores, yo he estado viendo muchos videos al respecto y puedo entender la importancia de ganar un buen alcance y de tener una marca personal, es por eso que pienso salir de mi zona de confort (HIVE) y explorar otros horizontes, sin abandonar a HIVE que es mi favorita, tengo que encontrar la manera de conectar mi mundo aquí con el exterior. El caso es que la presencia constante y con contenido que aporte a la audiencia, puedes ganar muchos seguidores que con el tiempo pueden convertirse en clientes potenciales, con el enfoque correcto. Es importante también la paciencia 😅, no es algo inmediato.
También me encanta estudiar, hacer cursos, leer, todo lo que me aporte conocimientos y criterio. Estoy segura que prepararte constantemente te abrirá muchas más puertas y tu mente volará más lejos.

Así es, a mi también me encanta HIVE, pero ese deseo de conectar con el mundo exterior y hacer que lo que creo, llegue a manos de otros, es algo a lo que realmente quiero dedicarle parte de mi energía 😌 No es algo fácil, pero como mencionas, en internet se pueden hallar muchos videos que nos puedan ayudar a lograr ese alcance que necesitamos ✨
