I'm extremely pleased to share this post in the most welcoming Hive community! It's a festive post because with it I achieve my goal, which I've been working towards throughout the month of October, and with the support of my friends #freecompliments!
Monthly Author
The Monthly Author badge is awarded when you maintain the regularity of uninterrupted publications throughout a full month, regardless of the frontend used.
In my case, I completed 30 of the 31 necessary days with daily publications because I'm trying to earn another badge, called "Hive Power Up Month", which requires publication on every day of the month with rewards only in HivePower.
With this post you are reading, I complete all 31 days of October 2023 with at least one post with rewards entirely in HivePower!
Basically what differentiates the Monthly Author and PowerUp Month seals is that for the second, publications must necessarily be with PowerUp rewards. So if you meet this requirement, there are two badges for the price of one!

There is also a badge for weekly authors, which I have already managed to accumulate a total of 6 complete cycles. Four of these cycles must be within the same objective Hive PowerUP Month, so we increased it to 3 badges for the price of one :)
Maintaining a regular publication schedule is not an easy task, and for at least one day my ideas and creativity were completely blocked, and I had to resort to a simple publication to avoid missing the date.
On the other hand, due to complete forgetfulness, I failed to run a PowerUp of 1 hive for a day, thus losing the opportunity to make my picture complete.

Note that for each day of the month there are two icons. The green document indicates that a publication with a reward entirely in HP was found, while the green arrow indicates that a manual powerup of at least 1 Hive was identified.
On October 25th I ended up not doing the PowerUp. This does not disqualify me, but it left my picture incomplete. Maybe next time I'll be more careful.
I don't want to create controversy, but the icons are certainly out of line with the dates. This means that what you see on the 1st is actually what happened on the 2nd. For this reason, "yesterday" is always blank. In the case of this publication, while we are on October 31st, the table shows the 30th completely empty (but in fact the information from the 30th is contained in the 29th).

Basicamente o que diferencia os selos Monthly Author e PowerUp Month é que para o segundo, as publicações devem ser necessariamente com recompensas em PowerUp. Então cumprindo esse requisito, são dois dinstintivos ao preço de um!

Também existe um distintivo para autores semanais, que eu já consegui acumular um total de 6 ciclos completos. Quatro destes ciclos obrigatoriamente dentro do mesmo objetivo Hive PowerUP Month, portanto aumentamos para 3 distintivos pelo preço de um :)
Manter uma regularidade de publicações não é uma tarefa fácil, e por ao menos um dia estive com as ideias e a criatividade totalmente travada, e precisei recorrer a uma publicação simples para não perder a data.
Por outro lado, por um completo esquecimento, deixei de executar um PowerUp de 1 hive por um dia, perdendo assim a oportunidade de deixar meu quadro completo.

Perceba que para cada dia do mês existem dois ícones. O documento verde indica que foi encontrada uma publicação com recompensa totalmente em HP, já a seta verde indica que foi identificado um powerup manual de no mínimo 1 Hive.
No dia 25 de outubro acabei não realizando o PowerUp. Isso não me desqualifica, porém deixou meu quadro incompleto. Talvez na próxima tentativa eu seja mais cuidadoso.
Não quero criar polêmicas mas os ícones estão certamente desalinhados das datas. Isso significa que o você vê no dia 01, na verdade é o que aconteceu no dia 02. Por este motivo, o dia de "ontem" sempre está em branco. No caso desta publicação, enquanto estamos no dia 31 de outubro, o quadro mostra o dia 30 completamente vazio (mas na verdade a informação do dia 30 está constando no dia 29).
