I don't know how many poems I've written, how many songs I've sung,
But the thoughts of my heart remain incomplete
I haven't been able to express all that I've experienced
I received a few smiles in debt,
but I've only been able to sigh
As many clouds as rose in my heart,
I've shed as many tears
But the rain of my eyes remains incomplete
The rainbow world of childhood became unfamiliar in my youth
Since you came into my life,
I've become familiar with pain
You gave me the new moon,
bringing my moon and stars,
But the full moon night remains incomplete
My mind has wandered from village to village like a nomad
My song is a beggar, knocking at every door
The day has given the heat of the sun,
and the night has given the dew,
But the gift of dreams remains incomplete
My pain is a child, devoted to life
I gave everything to my eyes,
yet it remained distant from my body
Breaths adorned me,
But the wedding procession is still incomplete
