The game starts with Michael, Trevor, and Brad robbing a bank in North Yankon 9 years before the events of the game. The score ends in tragedy when Brad dies, but Michael makes it. Mike moved to Los Santos, changed his name to act as if Brad was in jail, and Mike died.
