Greetings! In celebration of Hallowen I present this retro review of the controversial playstation one video game THRILL KILL.
The video game developed in 1998 was cancelled its release and sale to the public by Electronics Arts, the owners of the rights of the game, because the game contained many scenes of violence, sexual acts, obscenities and infernal representations.
However, some time later, collaborators in the development of the game finished it and the game was published on the internet and from there we all had access to pirated copies of the video game.
Thrill Kill is a very peculiar and attractive game for the time in which it was developed. In the game four opponents are locked up fighting all against all, the characters do not have a life bar as in other fighting games without having a bar that is filled with each blow that tips its opponents and when the power bar is completely filled the character captures the nearest opponent and performs a kind of fatality and eliminating it from the game and so continues until there is only one survivor of the four fighters.
The story of the characters makes the game a little more striking, is based on the cursed souls of ten criminals condemned to hell where they are in the hands of a kind of succubus demon called MARUKKA which decides to make a fighting tournament in which the winner receives the gift of returning to life.
Mammoth: An enormous being who in life was a post office worker who after being fired from his job became angry and killed many of his colleagues and then shot himself.
Belladonna: A housewife and librarian who, upon discovering her husband's infidelity, decides to murder him along with his lover and then commits suicide by electrocution in a bathtub.
Cleetus:He is a cannibal who died of hunger after contracting a parasite.
Tormentor: A judge that he was executed in the electric chair after being found guilty of torturing and killing the criminals he pleaded guilty to in his court.
Oddball: An FBI agent who, after a long time of tracking down serial killers, goes crazy and becomes a killer dies after being shot by his protégé.
Violet: A young contortionist from a traveling circus, who killed a man who attacked her at the circus, died of internal injuries after breaking her spinal cord.
Dr. Fausto: A deranged plastic surgeon, who disfigured his patients, died of an infection caused by the grafting of a metal jaw on his face.
The Imp: A violent dwarf who died from complications after the amputation of both legs to replace them with stilts.
Cain: An unlockable character of the game . it is a pyromaniac, who has the ability to evoke fire, died after setting himself on fire with one of his arsons.
Judas: Another unlockable character, they are two twins united by the sternum, they do not have legs and walk with the hands of the other half while the other half fights, the motive of their death is unknown.
Marukka: Is the final unlockable character of the game. He is also the demon character that organizes the tournament and brings the winning character back to life.

El videojuego desarrollado en 1998 fue cancelada su salida y venta al publico por Electronics Arts los propietarios de los derechos del juego debido a que el juego contenía muchas escenas de violencia, actos sexuales, obscenidades y representaciones infernales.
Sin embargo un tiempo despues colaboradores en el desarrollo del juego lo terminaron y el juego fue publicado en internet y desde alli todos tuvimos acceso a copias piratas del videojuego.
Thrill Kill es un juego muy peculiar y atractivo para la época en que se desarrollo. En el juego se enfrentan cuatro oponentes encerrados luchando todos contra todos, los personajes no cuentan con una barra de vida como en otros juegos de lucha sin que cuentan con una barra que se va llenando con cada golpe que le propina a sus oponentes y al llenarse por completo la barra de poder el personaje captura al oponente mas cercano y realiza una especie de fatality y eliminandolo del juego y asi continua hasta que quede un solo sobreviviente de los cuatro luchadores.
La historia de los personajes hace que el juego sea un poco mas llamativo, se basa en las almas malditas de diez criminales condenados al infierno donde están en manos de una especie de demonio sucubo llamada MARUKKA la cual decide realizar un torneo de lucha en el cual el ganador recibe el don de regresar a la vida.
Mammoth: Un ser de enome tamaño que en vida era un trabajador de la oficina de correo que luego de ser despedido de su trabajo se enfureció y mató a muchos de sus compañeros para despues suicidarse de un un tiro.
Belladonna: Un ama de casa y bibliotecaria quien al descubrir la infidelidad de su esposo decide asesinarlo junto con a amante y luego comete suicidio electrocutandose en una bañera.
Cleetus:Es un caníbal que murió de hambre después de contraer un parásito.
Tormentor: Un juez de que fue ejecutado en la silla eléctrica tras ser declarado culpable de torturar y asesinar a los criminales que declaraba culpables en su tribunal.
Oddball: Un agente del FBI que después de mucho tiempo de seguimiento de los asesinos en serie, enloquece y se convierte en asesino muere tras ser disparado por su protegido.
Violet: Una joven contorsionista de un circo ambulante, asesino a un hombre que la ataco en el circo, murió de lesiones internas después de romperse su médula espinal.
Dr. Fausto: Un cirujano plástico desquiciado que desfiguraba a sus pacientes, murió de una infección causada por el injerto de unas mandibulas metalicas en su rostro.
The Imp: Un violento enano que murió de complicaciones después de la amputación de las dos piernas para reemplazarlas con los zancos.
Cain: Un personajes desbloqueable del juego . se trata de un pirómano, que tiene la capacidad de evocar el fuego, murió luego de prenderse fuego el mismo con uno de sus incendios provocados.
Judas: Otro personaje desbloqueable, son dos gemelos unidos por el esternón, no poseen piernas camina con las manos de el otro mientras la otra mitad lucha, se desconoce el motivo de su muerte.
Marukka: Es el personaje desbloqueable final del juego ademas es el personaje demoniaco que organiza el torneo y regresa a la vida al personaje ganador.
