Dragons - Splinterlands Weekly Battle Challenge.

in Hive Gaming2 years ago (edited)

Hey guyz,

It's been a long time since I last published anything related to splinterlands.
Um back people with another blog post in HIVE where I'm going to showcase one of splinterlands battle with the dragon element.

I didn't have any dragon monsters that I could use for this battle as my owned dragon monsters were in rent.

So I decided to rent some dragon monsters from other players and with that thought, I went to the splinterlands rental marketplace and I rent one summoner (Byzantine kitty from Untamed edition) and six monsters (Robo-Dragon knight from Reward edition, Carnage titan from Chaos Legion edition, Dragon jumper from Untamed edition, Gold dragon from Beta edition, Diamond dragon from Untamed Edition & Chaos Dragon from Chaos Legion edition).

image.png

All those cards did cost me 50.752 DEC that I paid in CREDITS and these cards will be mine to play for two days.

I rented those cards with a thought that I'd do a battle of 99 mana with all those cards but unfortunately I haven't found any battle with 99 mana and the highest mana cap I got was 30 where I used two dragon monsters and two neutral monsters and I will showcase that battle now.

My lineup for this battle:

So after using Byzantine kitty as summoner which is a untamed summoner, I chose Robo-Dragon knight and Carnage titan from Dragon element and then I chose Creeping ooze and Furious chicken (these were mine and not rented) from neutral element. The summoner and two dragon monsters did cost me 29 mana so I was with four slots and one mana. So I decided to use Creeping ooze with one mana and Furious chicken with ZERO mana as backups.

In the battlefield:

Link to the battle.

My backup monster Creeping ooze did well on the beginning by slowing down the speed of the enemy monsters. The enemy team started the battle and Carnage titan from friendly monster team attacked first from this side and did a double attack and broke the whole shield of Living lava of the enemy monster team. Attacking double from Carnage titan of friendly monster team happened because it has a special ability named double strike.

Then Robo-dragon knight of friendly monster team attacked Living lava of enemy monster team and the enemy monster lost two health although it was meant to lose three health but it had a special ability called shield which reduced the damage.

Then Fire elemental of enemy monster team attacked two monsters of friendly monster team and that happened cause the enemy monster had a special ability called blast and the friendly monsters lost total three shield (2+1).

Then Serpentine spy of enemy monster team attacked Creeping ooze of friendly monster team and the friendly monster died on the spot and the enemy monsters gained back their lost speed.

Three enemy monsters kept attacking Robo-dragon knight of friendly monster team and they kept missing their target one by one because the friendly monster had two special abilities called void & divine shield.

Living lava of the enemy monster team died on the spot in the next round after a double strike of Carnage titan and single strike of Robo-dragon knight of friendly monster team. Furious chicken of the friendly monster team died on the spot in this round as well.

Then all other enemy monsters died on the spot in the next two rounds and Robo-dragon knight of friendly monster team got some extra health as well as a gift from their summoner.

The battle ended in round 4 and Carnage titan of the friendly monster team killed the last monster of the enemy monster team and there came victory. My battle strategy worked well in this case.

Robo-dragon knight:

Robo-dragon knight is a legendary dragon monster with melee attacks.

I used Robo-dragon knight at the front position as it's a melee monster that can attack only from the first position unless the unless the battle has some special rules or the monster has special ability and it has 3 melee attack, 3 speed, 8 armor, 9 Health in level 1.
It's a 11 mana monster.

Carnage titan:

Carnage titan is a legendary dragon monster with melee attacks.

I used Carnage titan at the second position as it's a melee monster with reach ability that can attack from first and second place for having reach ability and it has 2 melee attack, 3 speed, 7 armor, 8 Health in level 1.
It's a 11 mana monster.

Creeping ooze:

Creeping ooze is a common neutral monster that I've in level 1.

I used Creeping ooze at that position cause it doesn't have any attacking power but it has an ability called slow and as it has 1 speed, 1 Health in level 1.
It's a 1 mana monster.

Furious Chicken:

Furious Chicken is a rare neutral monster that I have in level 1.

I used Furious Chicken in that position as a bait so that it can get hits from enemies when other cards can do their things.
Besides I couldn't do anything better but using a monster with 0 mana as the mana cap of the battle was not so high.

It has 1 speed, 1 Health in level 1.
It's a 0 mana monster.
