I previously wrote about everything that is coming to version 1.1 of Ghost of Tsushima.

The update is packed with new features, but the most impressive of all is Ghost of Tsushima Legends.

Legends is a four player cooperative mode that brings the first bit of multiplayer to Ghost of Tsushima. Within the mode you will have four characters that are separate from your single player Jin Sakai protagonist.

Each of the multiplayer characters have their own unique abilities and customization options.

Samurai

This tank will absorb the attention of enemies and be the first to enter battles.

Hunter

This ranged attacker will provide a sniper of sorts with his bow and group attacks.

Ronin

This healer will enable fallen teammates to recover and fight another day and bring forth allies from the realm of spirits.

Assassin

This DPS will attack from seemingly nowhere and surprise enemies with a gory death and ninja-like abilities.

Today is the day!

The update released for free today (October 16th). Multiplayer is just one of the many new things being added.

This weekend I should have plenty of time to experience all of the new multiplayer offerings in Ghost of Tsushima. I couldn’t have picked a more convenient weekend for this update to release. I will be reporting my thoughts on the new gameplay after I get to spend some time familiarizing myself with it. I cannot wait to see what this new update brings to the table for Ghost of Tsushima.

Potential Game of the Year?

You probably already know I am in love with Ghost of Tsushima. I truly think it is one of my favorite games of all time. With this new multiplayer update, I think it could seriously be in the running for a game of the year award. The only competition I see for it is CyberPunk 2077 which is releasing November 19th.
