I love video games. They are a great stress and depression reliever if played with moderation. But some contain gameplay that are so addictive that they can make you sometimes skip meals and take the useful hours out of your life.

Today, I am going to post about the top 5 video games that made me lose sleep till dawn playing them and got me in deep trouble with my concerned parents (God Bless them).

5. Super Street Fighter 2 - The New Challengers (Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo)

Street Fighter was big during the 1990s so money matches were made on who is the better player. Every famous fighting game out there had their basic moves based on Street Fighter. I find Street Fighter II more scary and compelling than any other fighting game because it's so basic and so bare-bones. No focus attacks, parries, vortexes and other stuff. It's just pure straight-forward Street Fighter. Even the damage is high.

4. Suikoden II (Sony Playstation)

The best 2D game on the PS1. It is a classic and rare RPG. If you wish to play an RPG with an intriguing Game of Thrones like story, beautiful epic music, over a hundred characters to recruit and massive battles then you should definitely play Suikoden II.

3. Rome: Total War (PC)

I'm a military history buff so I dig this game. You start off as an ancient Roman faction or another kingdom and built it up with strategies and tactics as the most powerful military machine in the ancient world. Rome: Total War is awesome. A turn based strategy game combined with amazing real time battles, all well crafted and mixed with amazing voice acting, music and help system. Hard to pick up as a beginner, but really easy and fun once you get the hang of it.

2. Final Fantasy Tactics (Sony Playstation)

The deep level of customization seems like a major part of why people still play Final Fantasy Tactics many years after it came out. There are awful strategies that make the game quite difficult. There are wicked strategies that make the game very easy. It is a strategy game that provides a huge amount of meaningful character customization and a mix of randomness to make it deep enough for people (like myself) to play the game from start to finish many times over the years.

1. Skyrim (Heavily modded on the PC)

The numerous mods available for download on the Internet are what make Skyrim great. The game has a huge open world environment and free form style of play. I like the ability to develop your character into good or evil however you like and customize everything about them. You can even mold your character into a lustful brute practicing polygamy with plenty of hot wives which can also become pregnant and bear children!

So what are your favorite video games that made you addicted playing till dawn?

Let's keep on gaming in the free world!

Yeah, it took me several mods and a few hours to finally get them right to move and look hot. 😺
