Times are good here at Distorted Illuminations. A new job with a steady schedule, less stress, and the same pay is going to allow for me to get back to doing a few things I use to do, as well as a couple of new things to add to my online work. So here we have nothing but good news. All relevant links I'll leave at the bottom of the post.
The first thing to announce is starting November 5th, and at least December and January 5th, you will see a monthly podcast with me and my Co-Host Mildra the Monk, an online Mutual I've known online for a while now. We are planning to see at least three of these shows to see if we have any good chemistry together, and hopefully, it will work out. I'm looking forward to our first showing, where we will be talking about Anime Reboots, as well as whatever it was we had been watching.
Another thing I am trying to do again brings back my series where I invite someone on to talk about a game or anime we have differing views on. These were always a lot of fun to do, but just trying to schedule them with my old job became a nightmare, so it simply stopped happening. It's not going to be something on a regular schedule, but something I am looking forward to doing once again. Both shows I'll be uploading to both 3SPeak as well as Bitchute, possibly Odyssee if I can get that to work for me as well. The only difference is these podcasts are going to be recorded rather than Livestreamed.
The final thing is something I'm wanting to start doing in a couple of weeks, but I'm going to try doing a weekly game stream on Sundays, possibly more if it's something that a lot of people start wanting to see more regularly. I'll either be focusing on playing either indie games I'm grabbing off-stream, or possibly doing some retro games. I'm a bit iffy about Twitch, so I'm going to give Dlive a shot.
One last thing, since some of my stuff, is now also going off-site (Streaming will be Dlive, and videos will be hosted elsewhere in addition to 3SPeak), and I don't' want to purely limit my audience here to hive I also have a Locals page set up for anyone wanting to support all my work you can support me there (Or just join so there is a group of people you can talk games and anime with, if you don't know what Locals is it's a Twitter community focused around a content creator you follow). My written content, as always, will just be hosted here. So if you are only interested in my written stuff, that isn't going anywhere. Also, none of my work is going to be behind a paywall despite that being an option on Locals. Everything I do will continue to be free to view and consume, any support is entirely optional (Though greatly appreciated).
