Prince of Persia!

Contrary to appearances, the changes introduced in the new PoP are not that huge. The game still consists of overcoming successive obstacle courses, which still boils down to pressing the appropriate buttons at the right moments to make one move or another. Our hero runs on the walls, grabs the Rings, jumps on beams and performs a whole host of other incredible acrobatic activities. The change compared to the predecessors is a certain freedom in terms of the order in which we will overcome the levels available in the game. The plot forces us to visit four places consisting of a series of smaller locations and we can move around the game with great freedom throughout the game. This is not a very significant change, but shows the player from the beginning what needs to be done. And completing the next points on the map allows you to feel that our actions are heading for something. This time, however, we don't really know who our prince is. Even if our protagonist is a Prince at all. The box says Prince of Persia.

The plot itself, in my opinion, is not interesting. The constant interaction between the protagonist and Elika (the princess) is fun. Their dialogues, which are full of good humor and sarcasm, bring the game to life.
One of the biggest changes is the modification of the game's graphic style, here we have an interesting mixture of Borderlands graphics and various lighting effects. At first I had mixed feelings but now as I look at it, as well as back then, the people from the studio did a great job.

This "new Prince" is a beautiful, fairy-tale and wonderfully styled game. Watching Elika heal gloomy landscapes that turn into lovely colorful landscapes is great. Sound effects as well as brilliant instrumental music allow you to feel the atmosphere of the new prince. But Prince of Persia is also great gameplay and combat. How does it look like here?
Our protagonist in this version is practically Immortal, not because he is some kind of indestructible God, but because instead of the Sands of time, he has Elika with him, saving the prince from peril. He will fall into the abyss, the princess will put him on the platform next to him. The monster wants to kill us, Elika will throw the monster aside for the hero to stand up. However, is this a problem? Some players get nervous and claim that this removes all challenges. But this is bullshit. If, after the fall, it takes us back to the recently visited platform, how is it different from loading the last game state or starting from the last checkpoint?

There are times in the game when you can play with one hand (easy) but sometimes there are times when you just say "huh I made it"
The fight is a bit less complex, because it consists of duels between our heroes and a lone enemy, on which you can perform very spectacular combos by pressing a specific button at the right time. The skirmishes can even be rewarding if you practice these combos.

An important element of the game is the ending. It can provoke two distinct reactions. Let's look on the one hand: it can cause a sudden uncontrolled rage because all the actions so far turn out to be pointless and the Whole ends up waiting for a sequel. On the other hand, it is a good ending because you can see the second type of reaction: it is a positive surprise that the creators had the courage for such a dark but also atmospheric ending, which perfectly closes the whole story in an unexpected way.

Prince of Persia is a good game, it is different from the previous ones but i think is worth of play!
