As for gameplay, I can tell you that the game is action and adventure that takes place in an open world, but the truth is that the game is quite disappointing and is not what they promised because it has nothing of action what the truth saddens us and lowers a good amount of point at the time of qualifying this part. Another thing that was criticized is that the game does not allow the option of jumping what has not liked anything to users who like video games and know about XXL3. Talking directly to them about the gameplay as I mentioned, the game is open world since we have to go through a series of territories to achieve the objectives that we have in the game. In the game we have available two characters Asterix and Obelix, that if we play only we can go playing individually with each hero, but the best thing is to play with the help of a friend or family. Another thing that is important to mention is that the Artificial Intelligence is very bad, but good is why the game is considered totally arcade.

The controls in the game are simple and very easy to use because in many cases to make a move or attack we must only press one or two buttons, which makes this game accessible to even the smallest of the house. Another thing is that even though we can play the game alone, it is made for a team of two, since there are moments where we must use both characters to get the tasks done in the best possible way; that is, of course we can play it alone but at some point we must change characters which makes it very tedious for the player. In short, the game is easy to play which is a success for some but for those who like the difficulty is not so. I think more was expected from this game in terms of playability and game mechanics.

There are mainly two game modes, the story mode which I briefly explained and the multiplayer mode which is locally with a maximum of two players. In general I also think that the game modes are very limited which makes this part of the game very boring for the players who always expect more in action and adventure games. The ones that are the fights are tedious since the amount of enemies and the type of the same ones are very few, for which always we spend battling almost that with the same opponents in all the histories, but clear that sometimes it varies and more when we change of place or country. The good thing is that as we hit our enemies there is a bar that is loaded and makes the subsequent hits much stronger. In the game there are different attacks whether they are blows, fire or freezing movements, lifting objects, besides there are other resources such as magic potions that allow us to improve speed and strength during a time that is limited. In general lines I can say that I am quite disappointed by the gameplay but it does not mean that all this evil and is that in the game we find things that are quite interesting, but does not have many things that predominate in an action and adventure game.

Graphically the game is not bad at all. The modeling of the characters is good, they are well detailed, like most of the animations we see during the action and adventure, whether we hit, lift objects or enemies, among other things. Now the game is quite colorful but the scenarios seem to me to have no life and lack details that in games of this type and generation we usually see. The view of the game is an area which is quite disappointing since the creators of the game promised a game with 3D view. The lighting of the game leaves much to be desired as well as the textures of the objects that make up the different scenarios. Another thing that is missing is the visual effects that we see in this type of game are almost null. What is the fluidity of the game if it is something that is positive, since it runs very smoothly and using the graphics to full if you have the requirements that this game demands. In general some are of lime and others of sand, good things and others that not only, but in general the graphic section lacks grace and details.

Finally we have the sound that is quite good with respect to the previous section. The sound effects are quite good, they are really good, so I am really happy and it is something very positive in this game. What is the soundtrack if it is moderate, it has good music, but it lacks some variety since in many cases the themes are very repetitive. What if is that it is quite happy and entertaining at least from my personal taste. The voices of the game are in English, which is somewhat disappointing, however it has texts in Spanish since the game is very playful in countries where Spanish is their native language. In general the voices and dialogues are correct, nothing that stands out or is very impressive.
In conclusion this game is quite disappointing, it is usually a tedious adventure, boring for the players, extremely simple and full of failures in what is artificial intelligence. The history of the game has not impressed me many, as for the history game mode, what yes it is the one that the game is multiplayer in teams of two that is the most entertaining thing in the gameplay, since we can play with our friends or family. What is the graphics the game is general is very deficient, it has failures or things of which they lack. The best of the graphics is the modeling of the characters and the fluidity of the game, but the negative is the view of the camera that is from above, how bad sometimes look the textures of the objects and that lacks more visual effects. The sound is good, mainly the sound effects. The soundtrack is quite entertaining, however it is very repetitive, which means that it lacks more variety in the musical themes. The voices in English are correct and they have texts in Spanish. For all this I give a 5 to the gameplay, a 6 to the graphics and 8.5 to the sound.
