Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition es un videojuego del rol desarrollado por Tales Studio para las plataformas digitales PC, PS4, XOne, Switch, PS3 y X360. Su lanzamiento en el mercado fue el 11 de enero de 2019 para los dispositivos ya antes mencionados. Esta es una de los juegos que han salido de la famosa saga Japonesa de videojuegos Tales of, siendo esta uno de las mejores entrega que hemos visto en mucho tiempo. Esta es una versión remasterizada de la original de PS3, sin embargo se ha respetado su historia, jugabilidad y contenidos, con muchas mejores en cuanto a la comparación con la versión original. La historia de este juego nos dice cómo debemos salvar el mundo de Terca Lumireis, donde la humanidad vive a salvo de los monstruos gracias a unas poderosas barreras que protegen las ciudades. Lo mejor de este juego es que en la historia principal puede haber muchos cambios de una parte a la otra lo que es realmente bueno ya que así nada es predecible para los jugadores. El protagonista principal es Yuri es joven el cual tiene la importante tarea de salvar el mundo donde se desarrolla la historia del juego, pero con la siempre importante ayuda de otros personajes que nos iremos encontrando a medida que vamos avanzando en la trama de Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition.
Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition is a role-playing video game developed by Tales Studio for the digital platforms PC, PS4, XOne, Switch, PS3 and X360. Its release on the market was on January 11, 2019 for the aforementioned devices. This is one of the games that have come out of the famous Japanese video game saga Tales of, this being one of the best installments we have seen in a long time. This is a remastered version of the PS3 original, however its story, gameplay and contents have been respected, with many improvements in terms of comparison with the original version. The story of this game tells us how we must save the world of Terca Lumireis, where humanity lives safe from monsters thanks to powerful barriers that protect the cities. The best thing about this game is that in the main story there can be many changes from one part to the other which is really good because then nothing is predictable for the players. The main protagonist is Yuri is a young man who has the important task of saving the world where the story of the game takes place, but with the always important help of other characters that we will find as we move forward in the plot of Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition.

En cuanto a la jugabilidad es importante comenzar mencionándoles que este se trata de un juego con combates a tiempo real, por lo cual es bueno ya que en la lucha pueden aparecer nuevas personajes en cualquier momento. En los combates no solo se usan golpes físicos, sino que también se usan magia por lo cual hay bastante variedad en este aspecto. Este juego se caracteriza por hacer gala de batallas rápidas, ágiles, dinámicas y muy divertidas que además pueden jugarse en multijugador local, algo que en esta entrega se cumple decentemente, nada que destacar pero si cumple con su cometido. Una de las cosas que si se le puede criticar en cuanto a la jugabilidad a este videojuego es la Inteligencia Artificial que si bien no es tan mal, pues no se le mejora nada en comparación a las anteriores entregas. La historia del juego puede tener una duración de 50 horas, sin embargo esto puede variar, todo depende la habilidad del jugador para desplazarse y cumplir con las misiones y las batallas lo más rápido posible.
As for the gameplay, it is important to start by mentioning that this is a game with real-time combat, which is good because new characters can appear at any time in the fight. In the fights not only physical blows are used, but also magic, so there is enough variety in this aspect. This game is characterized by showing off fast, agile, dynamic and very fun battles that can also be played in local multiplayer, something that in this installment is decently fulfilled, nothing to emphasize but it fulfills its mission. One of the things that can be criticized in terms of gameplay to this game is the Artificial Intelligence that although it is not so bad, it is not improved at all compared to previous installments. The story of the game can have a duration of 50 hours, however this may vary, it all depends on the player's ability to move and complete the missions and battles as quickly as possible.

El tiempo de duración del juego como les dije anteriormente puede ser de 50 horas, sin embargo esto puede variar ya que el jugador deberá moverse por un mundo considerablemente grande, que tiene ciudades con muchas tiendas; es decir, posee una gran variedad de lugares que nuestro protagonista Yuri deberá conocer y lo mejor es que no sabemos en qué momento podemos comenzar una batalla, ya que la exploración también es fundamental en Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition. El juego tienes misiones principales y segundarias que el jugador deberá ir pasando cada una de ellas para así ir adquiriendo más experiencia en el juego, además de mejorar el equipamiento de nuestro personaje.
The duration of the game as I said before can be 50 hours, however this may vary as the player must move through a considerably large world, which has cities with many stores; that is, it has a variety of places that our protagonist Yuri must know and the best thing is that we do not know when we can start a battle, since exploration is also essential in Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition. The game has main and secondary missions that the player will have to go through each one of them to gain more experience in the game, as well as improve our character's equipment.
Entre los personajes del juego nos encontramos con Yuri Lowell quien como les mencione es un el protagonista principal del juego, Repede quien es el eterno compañero de Yuri, Estellise Sidos Heurassein quien no se conocer mucho de este personaje en la historia, Rita Mordio, Karol Capel, Raven, Judith, Flynn Scifo, Patty Fleur, Clint, Tison, Nan, Yeager , Gauche, DroiteZagi , Alexei y Duke.

Ahora vamos con la parte técnica, comenzando con las gráficas. El apartado gráfico de Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition es muy bueno, sin embargo no se realizaron muchas mejores con respecto a la entrega original. Las texturas de los personajes está bien realizados al igual que sus modeladores, pero lo que más sobresale es la parte artística. Los que son los escenarios está muy buen, con buenas texturas y bastante colorido, con una paleta de colores muy sólidas. Ahora bien en cuanto a la iluminación, esto sí me parece que es igual al original que si bien no está mal, me ha decepcionado un poco porque esperaba algo mejor para ser la remasterización del juego. En cuanto a los efectos de sonidos sí que me ha gustado bastante. La fluidez del juego es bastante bueno, pero lo malo es que esto varía dependiendo de la consoló de juego o plataforma que estemos usando, algo que no está recomendado. En líneas generales el juego en la parte gráfico es bueno, pero me esperaba algunas mejores más con respecto a la saga original que ya era buena.
Now let's go to the technical part, starting with the graphics. The graphics of Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition is very good, however, not many improvements were made with respect to the original release. The textures of the characters are well done as well as their modelers, but what stands out the most is the artistic part. The scenarios are very good, with good textures and colorful enough, with a very solid color palette. Now as for the lighting, it seems to me that it is the same as the original, although it is not bad, I was a little disappointed because I expected something better to be the remastering of the game. As for the sound effects I did like it quite a bit. The fluidity of the game is pretty good, but the bad thing is that this varies depending on the game console or platform we are using, something that is not recommended. Overall the game in the graphical part is good, but I expected some better more with respect to the original saga that was already good.

En lo que al sonido respecta les puedo decir que este punto sigue siendo fantástico que el original. El juego dispone de unos excelentes efectos de sonidos tanto ambientales como los que se dan durante los combates. En cuanto al diálogo el sonido se escucha muy bien, con audio tanto en inglés como en japonés en lo que a los diálogos entre personajes se refiere, pero también tiene una perfecta traducción al español. El sonido mantiene la fantástica banda sonora que compuso Motoi Sakuraba, ambientando a la perfección todo lo que vemos en pantalla para realzar como se merece cada momento de la aventura, siendo esto uno de principales aspecto en cuanto al apartado sonoro se refiere.
As far as the sound is concerned I can tell you that this point is still fantastic than the original. The game has excellent sound effects both environmental and those that occur during combat. As for the dialogue the sound is very good, with audio in both English and Japanese as far as the dialogues between characters are concerned, but also has a perfect translation into Spanish. The sound maintains the fantastic soundtrack composed by Motoi Sakuraba, perfectly setting everything we see on screen to enhance as it deserves every moment of the adventure, this being one of the main aspects as far as the sound section is concerned.
En conclusión, Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition es bueno que si bien no es lo mejor en cuanto a la remasterización de juegos actuales, pues la verdad es que es bueno ya que así muchos podemos de disfrutar de este juego antiguo, ya sea con algunas mejoras e incorporaciones. Este es un juego bastante entretenido, con una buena jugabilidad con una historia más completa, las gráficas son buenas pero no con tantas mejores con respecto a la saga original. Pero lo mejor de la parte técnica es el sonido ya que posee la maravillosa banda sonora, unos buenos efectos de sonidos y unas voces que se escuchan bastante bien. En fin por todo lo dicho anteriormente es que le doy un 9.6 a la jugabilidad, un 9 a las gráficas y un 10 al sonido.
In conclusion, Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition is good that although it is not the best in terms of remastering current games, the truth is that it is good because many of us can enjoy this old game, either with some improvements and additions. This is a quite entertaining game, with a good gameplay with a more complete story, the graphics are good but not so much better than the original saga. But the best of the technical part is the sound as it has a wonderful soundtrack, some good sound effects and voices that are heard quite well. In short, for all of the above I give a 9.6 to the gameplay, a 9 to the graphics and a 10 to the sound.
