Yes the style is cartoonish anime-like... If you heard of Danganronpa or Virtue Last Reward or Zero Time-delimma, those are dark games about death.
This game is another project by the creators of those and it's lighter themed but still has dark story elements.
ohh yes, I think I already know what you are talking about, thank you, I am not very fond of this style of games, but there are some that catch my attention, thanks 😊
