Everyone enjoys emotional and personal moments of a game's story, but I think we can all agree that Life is Strange: Reunion is pretty much anything but these. Of course, the game is not lacking such moments, but the actual word that sums up pretty much what the game feels like, is chaos.
So, along with the emotional moments between Chloe and Max that we got to enjoy in the previous gameplay, it was about time to see Max get back into business and dig deeper into finding more evidence on who could start the fire that will take place in two days.
That's how the episode begins with Max crossing paths with Loretta again, where for the first time in a while, there’s a sense that she’s not just another student. The difference is being made depending on how you approach it because she can either become an ally to Max or someone you’re constantly trying to learn more things from, but with no success. Happily, in my case, I managed to set my path for cooperation even if she didn’t fully understand the danger she was stepping into. That obviously made it into even more evidence chasing, with some of the clues very easy to miss if you are not digging very deep into what the library has to offer.
Fortunately, I think I did a pretty good job with this part, and I believe I didn't miss any detail in this stage of the game's story. So if you are doing a playthrough on your end, you can consider my video for a bit of leading on what to look for while in the library.
However, the gameplay doesn't finish just yet, because Max ends up in the office of Vinh, who always feels like he's hiding something, especially based on his answers that are anything but clear. And just like in real life, I always hated half responses or way too carefully picked responses that just sound nice but don't really mean anything.
So, while this is another important moment determined by the options you pick for your dialogue, the actual key moment of today's video is when Max makes it into Owen's office, one of the most hated characters in this series of games.
This is the moment when differences in players' paths are determined, as not everyone manages to get access to Owen's computer and make it out in time. And even if, during my walkthrough, I managed to get a clean turnaround of events, the truth is still far from being figured out on who starts the fire, even with the little fragments of clues and possible explanations one could receive by checking all the files.
