PET SOCIETY.
In 2008 I was already addicted to the social network Facebook of which many of us feel like haunted by the addiction we had.
Facebook knew how to captivate its users by creating online games, where every day we could be distracted by the large number of games added.
One of them was Pet Society, created by the Play Fish company and it was a real online game.
The game is based on caring for a pet that you can dress, feed, bathe and you can even visit your friends in their virtual houses and visit their pet.

What did I like about the Pet Society?
The innovative way to play solo and online with your friends and family around you. If you had one of your friends playing Pet Society you could visit him and give him a hug, have a coffee or say Hello.
There was also the option of investing in the game, you could buy items for your house that you could buy using a credit card.
I never dared to do that, but I did meet several of my friends who had their houses very decorated with the purchase they made with their cards.
Playing every day and complying with the rules helped you to increase the experience, with which you could get more free items and new rooms for the house.
I think that the comparison of my day to day with that of my pet was what I liked the most and made my addiction to gambling.

One of the rooms that was opened to me in the game was a patio where there were plants that I could water, grow and harvest.
When I visited my friends, many of them had exotic plants that I did not have and I felt the desire to succumb to the temptation, but I did not dare to do it because I knew that if I bought the first time it would become successive purchases and who knows where would have stopped.
We celebrated important dates.
Easter, Halloween, Hanukkah, birthdays and of course Christmas among others.
Of course, as a Christmas lover, I also liked to celebrate Christmas with my pet. On the first of December, the Christmas tree appeared in our portals to place it where it seemed best to us in our virtual house of the game.
This month I received from my friends, those who bought with their cards, gifts such as backdrops to decorate the tree or any Christmas decoration.

En el año 2008 ya era adicta a la red social Facebook de la cual muchos de nosotros nos sentimos como embrujados por la adicción que teníamos.
Facebook supo cautivar a sus usuarios creando juegos en línea, donde todos los días podíamos distraernos con la gran cantidad de juegos agregados.
Uno de ellos fue Pet Society, creado por la empresa Play Fish y que era un juego real en linea.
El juego se basa en el cuidado de una mascota a la que puedes vestir, dar de comer, bañar e incluso puedes visitar a tus amigos en sus casas virtuales y visitar su mascota.
Qué me gustaba de Pet Society ?
La innovadora forma de jugar en solitario y en línea con los amigos y familiares de tu entorno. Si tenías a uno de tus amigos jugando Pet Society lo podías visitar y dar un abrazo, tomarte un café o decirle Hola.
También estaba la opción de invertirle al juego, podías comprar artículos para tu casa que podías adquirir mediante una tarjeta de crédito.
Yo nunca me atreví a hacer eso, pero si conocí a varios de mis amigos que tenían sus casas muy decoradas con la compra que hacían con sus tarjetas.
Jugar todos los días y cumplir con las normas te ayudaba a subir la experiencia, con lo que podías obtener más objetos gratis y nuevas habitaciones para la casa.
Yo creo que la comparación de mi día a día con el de mi mascota fue lo que más me gustó he hizo mi adicción al juego.

Una de las habitaciones que se me abrió en el juego fue un patio donde habían plantas que podía regar, cultivar y cosechar.
Cuando visitaba a mis amigos, muchos de ellos tenían plantas exóticas que yo no tenía y sentía el deseo de sucumbir ante la tentación, pero no me atrevía a hacerlo porque sabía que si compraba la primera vez ya se convertiría en sucesivas compras y quién sabe dónde habría parado.
Celebrábamos fechas importantes.
Semana Santa, Halloween, Hanukkah, cumpleaños y por supuesto Navidad entre otros.
Por supuesto, como amante de la navidad, también me gustaba celebrar la navidad con mi mascota. El primero de Diciembre aparecía en nuestros portales el arbolito de navidad para colocarlo donde mejor nos pareciera en nuestra casa virtual del juego.
En este mes recibía de mis amigos, aquellos que compraban con sus tarjetas, regalos como bambalinas para decorar el árbol o cualquier decoración navideña.
Pet Society fue un juego muy completo y muy divertido. Le doy las gracias a @sadbear por haber realizado este concurso ya que me trajo muy bonitos recuerdos de mi primer juego en línea junto a mis amigos. Si quieres participar en el, aquí dejo el link:
Hace mucho que no veía este juego, Pet Society es un juego que lo jugaba todo el mundo. Recuerdo que era el boom y luego llegaron juegos como Ninja Saga, CityVille y otros más que marcaron mi infancia.
El city ville también lo jugué, pero el que más me atraía era Pet Society. Yo también recordé buenos momentos, gracias por comentar en mi blog @perceval
Me alegra que participes!, muy buen post, recuerdo bien este videojuego, facebook tuvo una época en donde tenía muy buenos juegos disponibles en su plataforma, este personalmente me recuerda a animal crossing, recuerdo que muchas amistades jugaban a este videojuego por la similitud que tenían, aunque este juego también tenía su magia, un saludo desde la cueva❗🐻🎮🚀
