Hi to all the Hive Gaming community, today we continue with our Halloween horror game saga and today I want to talk about one of the demos (so this post won't be very long) that unfortunately was cancelled, The game that more hype gave me in the whole history of horror games and the one that I feel the most pain that was not released, we'll be talking about Silent Hill P.T.

Silent Hill has always been a saga that has sought among the Survival Horror always have a more psychological touch and that the choices of the player had a weight in the outcome of the game, so this saga is so known for its multiple endings (from the good to he bad one a joke one that it's know as OVNI), After having a good time without presenting a new game, this saga had its fans waiting for it, and when in 2014 we were presented with this incredible demo I think I was not the only one who thanked all the gods for this delivery.

This game was not only going to be a new game of this great saga but it was in charge of injecting Team Silent with as much talent as possible so that we not only had a great game but also extremely scary, we had Hideo Kojima (director of nothing more than the Metal Gear saga although Death Stranding seemed a little bizarre to me) and the incredible Guillermo del Toro (film director with films like Hellboy, The labyrinth of the Faun and Pacific Rim) and as if that wasn't enough this incredible director's couple also in this project was included the horror mangaka Junji Ito (if you haven't read a manga of him and you feel like having nightmares, I recommend you to read them are something that will leave a mark on you or a spiral if you know what I mean), we can say that with this team this game only sounded to be a real factory of nightmares and scares that would leave us marked.

This great demo unfortunately was only released for PS4, being made by Kojima Productions and was going to be distributed by Konami like every game in the Silent Hill saga, the problem (and one of the biggest regrets of my life as a gamer) is that Hideo Kojima had problems with Konami and decided to leave the project, the reasons for this have not been revealed by Kojima or Konami but all gamers and horror fans know that this has been one of the hardest blows we could receive.

This game presented us some 3D graphics that besides being incredibly realistic were very scary, also for this game Silent Hill decided to change its third person perspective for a first person perspective that increased in a brutal way the suspense and tension that this game generated, also with a very dark atmosphere and without any clue of what was waiting for us, this game was presented as something incredible.

In addition, not only we had an incredible team of directors, but the actor Norman Reedus (well known for his role in The Walking Dead) presented his face to give life to the main character of this game, unfortunately this was only an idea.

I don't have much more to add about this game, I think it's already clear that it really hurt me that it didn't pass the demo phase, but it's that seriously this game was seen in all the possible aspects like a future jewel of the horror video games, there are some people that have hacked the demo to be able to see some extra things but unfortunately it won't pass from there (to my regret) I hope that this post has pleased you and that to share my feeling of regret haha, as I always say any advice that you give me will be very well received, thanks and see you later.

Silent Hill siempre ha sido una saga que a buscado entre el Survival Horror siempre tener un toque más psicológico y que las elecciones de el jugador tuviesen un peso en el resultado del juego, por esto esta saga es tan conocida por sus múltiples finales (desde el bueno, pasando por el malo y el de broma conocido como final OVNI) y después de tener un buen tiempo sin presentar un nuevo juego, esta saga tenia a sus fanáticos a la espera de con que nos sorprendería, y cuando en el 2014 nos presentaron este increíble demo creo que no fui el único que agradeció a todos los dioses por esta entrega.

Este juego no solo iba a ser una nueva entrega de esta genial saga sino que se encargo de inyectarle al Team Silent la mayor cantidad de talento para que no solo tuviésemos un juego genial sino también extremadamente aterrador, teníamos a Hideo Kojima (director de nada más que la saga de Metal Gear aunque Death Stranding me parecio un poco bizarro) y al increíble Guillermo del Toro (director de cine con películas como Hellboy, El laberinto del Fauno y Pacific Rim) y como si no fuese suficiente esta increíble dupla de directores también en este proyecto estaba incluido el mangaka de terror Junji Ito (si no han leído un manga de el y tienen ganas de tener pesadillas, les recomiendo que los lean son algo que fijo dejara una huella en ustedes o un espiral si saben a qué me refiero), en resumidas cuentas podemos decir que con este equipo este juego solo sonaba para ser una real fabrica de pesadillas y sustos que nos dejarían marcados.

Este genial demo lamentablemente solo fue lanzado para el PS4, siendo hecho por Kojima Productions e iba a ser distribuido por Konami como todo juego de la saga Silent Hill, el problema (y uno de los mayores pesares de mi vida como gamer) es que Hideo Kojima tuvo problemas con Konami y decidio salirse del proyecto, las razones de esto no han sido ni reveladas por Kojima ni por Konami pero todos los gamers y fanáticos del terror sabemos que este ha sido uno de los golpes más duros que podríamos recibir.

Este juego nos presento unas graficas en 3D que además de ser increíblemente realistas eran muy aterradoras, además para esta entrega Silent Hill decidió cambiar su perspectiva en tercera persona por una perspectiva en primera persona que aumento de manera brutal el suspenso y tensión que generaba este juego, además con una ambientación muy oscura y sin ninguna pista de que nos esperaba, este juego se presentaba como algo increíble.

Ademas no solo contábamos con un increíble equipo de directores, sino que el actor Norman Reedus (muy conocido por su papal en The Walking Dead) presento su cara para darle vida al que seria el personaje principal de este juego, lamentablemente esto solo quedo en una idea.

No me queda mucho mas que agregar sobre este juego, creo que ya quedo claro que en serio me dolio que no pasara de la fase de demo, pero es que en serio este juego se veía en todos los aspectos posibles como una futura joya de los video juegos de terror, existen algunas personas que han hackeado el demo para poder ver algunas cosas extra pero lamentablemente no pasara de ahí (muy a mi pesar) espero que este post les haya gustado y que compartar mi sentimiento de pesar jaja, como siempre digo cualquier consejo que me den será muy bien recibido, gracias y hasta luego.
