Find the way Through the Dimensions | Samsara | Review & GIF Gameplay

We have to help Zee escape from Samsara, hurry!

Dive into the dark dimension and help Zee find the way back. A game full of puzzles, where you must make your way through each stage and through the portals. Zee is an innocent child who fell into this world to chase a squirrel, and yes, similar to Alice in Wonderland, but something dark awaits you in the other side.

Samsara is a game developed by the company Jaffajam, a platform that helps developers get their games to the top. It is focused on indie games and we know that this kind of games are setting a standard in the gaming industry, as they have gone out of the ordinary and offered unique stories.

We will play between two worlds, confusing and dangerous kingdoms, where we will have to place blocks that will allow us to advance between them. One world is a reflection of the other, a dark dimension and what happens in one of them can change things in the other (like a mirror). You will have to think well about your movements to be able to solve the puzzle and move forward in stages.

Gravity, balance, teleportation, block position and many other things are an essential part of solving puzzles. As you progress, you'll discover that a mysterious shadow is following your path and you'll have to make way for both of them. These two characters influence each other and the game will increase in difficulty.

The game features different realms within which we will have the opportunity to explore more than 100 levels and some of them will be filled with the famous Easter Eggs. This will give you hours of entertainment, especially when thinking about how to solve each puzzle.

On the technical side, we have a fairly polished game at the graphic level. A colorful 2d panorama reminiscent of old school platform games. At gameplay level, the control is quite simple, we must touch the blocks and move them and then activate the character to move in the world.

The worlds are set to some pretty relaxing music to match what you see, I particularly love the sounds of the environment when interacting and that's one of the highlights of this game. The music and sound effects combine perfectly and make the game more alive.

The game may become repetitive as you progress, and some puzzles may not be a challenge, but weighed against those small details, Samsara provides a fairly relaxing and fun gameplay experience that will make you want to solve all puzzles. Perfect for a little fun in this quarantine time.

The game has a great potential to keep improving, adding new stages and ways to solve them. Its history is quite simple to understand and it is an ideal game for the little ones in the house. For all the above and some extra stuff, I give it a score of 7/10.
