Today I started playing Pokémon Espada, a game I had pending to play. As a good fan of the Pokémon games saga, I couldn't leave it for later. Although I must confess that I have been waiting for an open world Pokémon game with real time battles and although Nintendo has recently announced an open world Pokémon, what I could see in the video I didn't like very much. Maybe it's because I'm still waiting for a Pokémon with a Zelda Breath of the Wild style environment with Genshin Impact style colors. Yes, I know I'm expecting a lot from Nintendo and they still don't want to get out of their comfort zone.
Hoy hemos comenzado a Jugar Pokémon Espada, un juego que tenia pendiente por jugar. Como buen fan de la saga de juegos de Pokémon, no podía dejar para después. Aunque debo confesar que he estado esperando un juego de Pokémon de mundo abierto con batallas en tiempo real y aunque recientemente Nintendo ha anunciado un Pokémon de mundo abierto, lo que pude ver en el video no me gusto mucho. Quizás es porque sigo esperando un Pokémon con un ambiente al estilo Zelda Breath of the Wild con colores al estilo Genshin Impact. Si, se que estoy esperando mucho de Nintendo y aun no quieren salir de su zona de confort.
But here we will not make comparisons with other games, I loved the graphical and gameplay leap that Pokémon Sword has had compared to their previous games. A 3D environment with a lot of depth, a very fresh dynamic when controlling our character and an artistic detail and colors that make you love the game from the first moment.
Pero aquí no haremos comparativas con otros juegos, me ha encantado el salto grafico y de jugabilidad que ha tenido Pokémon Espada en comparación con sus anteriores juegos. Un entorno 3D con mucha profundidad, una dinámica muy fresca a la hora de controlar a nuestro personaje y un detalle artístico y de colores que te hacen querer al juego desde el primer momento.
I loved the battle system, although it is still the same as in other Pokémon games, the movement of the camera and the effects of the different attacks, give more excitement to each battle we have. The battles between Pokémons is the attraction of the game, or at least for me.
Me ha encanto el sistema de batalla, aunque sigue siendo igual que en otros juegos de Pokémon, el movimiento de la cámara y los efectos de los diferentes ataques, le dan más emoción a cada batalla que tengamos. No era de esperar menos, las batallas entre Pokémons es lo atractivo del juego, o por lo menos para mí.
Although we will see new Pokémons, we will be in a new place and we will meet new friends, the same dynamic of a rival friend and a professor, in this case, a master who gives you to choose 1 Pokémon out of 3 options, is maintained. Although it was a little sad for the Pokémon that was not selected, he had a sad face as if he was that puppy in adoption that nobody wanted.
Pese a que veremos nuevos Pokémons, estaremos en un lugar nuevo y conoceremos a nuevos amigos, se mantiene la misma dinámica de un amigo rival y un profesor, en este caso, un maestro que te da a escoger a 1 Pokémon de 3 opciones. Aunque fue un poco triste para el Pokémon que no fue seleccionado, tenia su cara triste como si fuera aquel perrito en adopción que nadie quiso.
I chose to select Scorbunny, a rabbit with fire element. I decided to select fire because, if the same dynamic as in other Pokémon games is maintained, starting with fire will give us an advantage in the early stages. Also because I like the design of Scorbunny and its evolutions. I named him Ale, like my nephew, and this has been my first Pokémon friend.
Yo opte por seleccionar a Scorbunny, un conejo con elemento fuego. Decidí seleccionar fuego, ya que, si se mantiene la misma dinámica que en otros juegos de Pokémon, comenzar con fuego nos dará una ventaja en las primeras etapas. También porque me gusta el diseño de Scorbunny y sus evoluciones. Le puse por nombre Ale, como mi sobrino, y este ha sido mi primer amigo Pokémon.
