Welcome to Honeywood Forest! After a delicious spring picnic in the Honeywood Forest, the picnickers must make their way out of the woods. Unfortunately, all the delicious food has caught the attention of some bears who are just waking up from hibernation and are ravenous! Escape before you become their next meal!
This is a play-by-post game, inspired by @happyme’s Zombie games. We will use the game board below to play the game. The goal is to make it to the Forest Portal square at the end of the path. Please note: This is a new game and the first time I’m running it so this is a test run. I’ll be learning if the mechanics work through this game and may change them to work better in future games.
This game has space for up to 8 players and requires daily participation from the players. Players can jump in any time, but the game ends when a player reaches the Forest Portal. Players post a comment on the daily game post to sign up and take their turn.

Rules
A copy of the game rules is available here. An extra rule is if you encounter a bear in your move, you can jump over it as long as you don't land directly in that bear's square.
How to Play
- Players use the online tool to roll a dice.
- Players comment below with their player number, what number their roll was, and which direction they move (ex: N, E, S, or W)
- I will draw a card for each player after their turn from my homemade deck and comment after your turn with the player's draw.
- After all players have moved or after 24 hours has passed, I will roll for the Bears on the board and the Dens to see if they spawn bears.

Each player's first comment will receive an upvote from me. Each day, I will also select a random active player to win a Hive SBI share using a number picker. At the end of the game, all active players win the tokens they currently have in their bags plus 5 Hive SBI shares. One player will also receive my bag of tokens.

Some very generous folks have been upvoting these game posts so I have decided to increase the HIVE SBI shares that are won at the end of the game from 1 per player to 5 per player. I can't for the life of me find 8 bears, even looking at the big map. I can only find 6 of them.
The way the current map looks, I would move north, but if there are invisible bears to the north, I would prefer to move south or even perhaps take a chance on passing the empty bear den to the east.
If a bear is sleeping in its den, it's not active on the board! You can see which bears are active by looking at the Den rolls. Currently, Red and Shrome are sleeping so you don't see them on the board.

BEER.OK, now that I've studied the map and bears I'm even more confused. Red should be in den 7, not Fin, correct? Or are they BOTH in there together? Maybe THAT'S why I can't find Red, Red is covered by Fin! And Fin is NOT asleep. Ahhhhh!!! I'm scared now. I think I better go SOUTH 4 spaces.
