The plot of this game is similar in many ways to that of the movie "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids", a movie from more than 30 years ago that we never got tired of watching, and that we could surely all enjoy as a family. I could even say that it is an unprecedented film, that while we watched it, we surely thought about how it would be to live that experience, and fortunately today, many years later we will be able to enjoy it.
The video game and the movie are not a coincidence, because the people in charge of developing it have been inspired by this movie for the development of the game, that although it is still in development, it is already possible to acquire it as an early access version, for which of course we will pay the small amount of $29.99, and with which we will be receiving all the DLCs that will make the game much more complete.
There are many things to do, where to survive, we will have to find water and food, so we will have to carefully explore every corner of the backyard to avoid having a radical drop in our health indicator, but this will not be an easy task, because we will have to do it under the dangers of the day, and taking care of the insects that come out at night to feed, and that will see us as their main dish.

Obsidian Entertainment presenta a Grounded como un videojuego de supervivencia que hará más que entretenernos, pues su historia se centra cuando un grupo de chicos son encogidos al tamaño de una hormiga y deberán sobrevivir a toda costa y averiguar la razón de por qué han sido reducidos a ese tamaño, todo desde el patio trasero de una casa, algo que en efecto, nos recuerda mucho a una historia que alguna vez vimos en la tv o en el cine, y que quizás muchos de mis lectores ya habrán recordado en este punto.
La trama de este juego se parece en muchos sentidos a la de la película "Cariño, he encogido a los niños", una película de hace más de 30 años que no nos cansamos de ver, y que muy seguramente todos pudimos disfrutar en familia, podría incluso decir que es un film sin precedentes, que mientras veíamos, seguro que pensábamos en cómo sería vivir esa experiencia, y afortunadamente hoy, muchos años después podremos disfrutar.

Tendremos la posibilidad de ir recolectando materiales naturales que nos servirán para construir nuestras propias fortalezas, y estar alejados del peligro, a su vez que nos servirá para ir desentrañando las razones de lo que nos sucedió, no será fácil recoger recursos o mantener nuestra salud, pues a medida que vayamos mejorando nuestras habilidades, los enemigos irán siendo más agresivos y nos verán como un peligro, por lo que no se la pensarán un instante para atacarnos.
El peligro más visible será el de las arañas gigantes, un aspecto que el mismo juego permite personalizar para que nosotros seamos quienes decidamos que tan grandes y aterradoras podrán ser estos insectos, que en muchas ocasiones nos toparemos, pues sin querer, seguramente nos topemos con algunos de sus nidos.
Calidad gráfica es otro de los atributos de Grounded, pues en día disfrutaremos de un cálido sol y unos destellos bastante bien elaborados, con un escenario muy bien construido que nos hará vivir una experiencia única de lo que es estar reducidos a miniatura y enfrentarnos a los peligros que asechan en el patio trasero, incluso por la noche disfrutaremos de una luna perfecta y de los sonidos que nos estarán alertando de los depredadores que saldrán a cazarnos, aspecto que también ha sido bien trabajado, pues la calidad del audio está muy bien desarrollada.
