En algún momento de nuestras vidas, quizás alguno de nosotros se ha puesto a pensar como seremos cuando seamos abuelos, con 70 años o más, si seguiremos haciendo todo eso que nos gusta en la actualidad, como por ejemplo, tener una afición por los juegos y las videoconsolas que estás por salir, tener esa ansiedad y ese espíritu de niños que nos invade cada vez que algo de esto nos genera una emotiva ilusión, pensar en que quizás tengamos 80 años y no estemos sentados en el patio de nuestra casa, o acostados viendo tv hasta quedarnos dormidos, o simplemente estar sentados pensando por largas horas, sino más bien, estar sentados, pero frente a un gran televisor, en el que tengamos conectado una videoconsola y un control en nuestras manos, o simplemente, estemos en nuestra silla gamer, detrás de una computadora gamer, o bueno, hasta quizás para aquel tiempo existirá algo mucho más alucinante de lo que ya conocemos, pensar que nuestros hijos o nietos pasen por nuestra habitación y nos vean con una sonrisa marcada de lado a lado disfrutando de nuestros videojuegos favoritos, y en un muy posible caso, que nuestros nietos se sienten con nosotros a jugar. Es claro que ahora es solo una suposición, pero muy seguramente ese futuro sea algo bastante parecido a lo que estoy mencionando.

Lo mejor de todo, es que los videojuegos no tienen, ni tendrán jamás un limite de edad, algunos hábitos como correr, la gimnasia, manejar un coche, o abordar una bicicleta serán cosas que con el tiempo se nos dificultará un poco hacerlas, pero los videojuegos sin importar nuestra edad, siempre los podremos disfrutar cómodamente en nuestro hogar, y lo mejor, es que seguramente no los disfrutaremos solos, sino con nuestra familia.
Sin duda, seremos parte de una generación bastante curiosa y divertida, nuestros nietos querrán ir a nuestra casa a sentarse a jugar con nosotros, o hasta nos llamarán por teléfono para decirnos: Abuelo o abuela ya estoy dentro del juego, entra rápido que mis amigos ya van a iniciar la partida.
