PORTADA.png

Having a great diversity of retro video games, there are some with which we somehow got attached, we passed over and over again, or simply saw in the game a huge potential for growth, well it is the case of titles like GoldenEye, Super Smash Bros, Contra, Metal Slug, Bomberman, and some other titles that today generate us a thought of how they would be in a 4K version, either on Nintendo Switch, PS5, or XBOX Series, some of these already have a Remake, or an improved version with different title, so they make me form the idea that some other games may at some point have their chance in one of these new game consoles with a high quality version and some inclusions that would certainly improve their gameplay.

Not all games lend themselves to a remake, there is the fact that not all companies dare to take on such challenges, in some cases because they are economically risky proposals, and in many others they only think of the enormous work that could generate a remake for a specific game, many have been successful, some have had a temporary popularity, and others have taken the remake as a basis for other sequels from there.

I want to make a parenthesis because today is the last day of the Challenge for me, so I want to thank enormously to all those who were encouraged to join the challenge and tell us their great stories, I will surely prepare the second part of this Challenge, so I invite you to be attentive to any news that I can publish in a few days or weeks with information about it, I also want to thank all those who have provided their support to curate all the content of those who are participating, for their motivating comments and support for the project, for these reasons the doors will remain open for more challenges and contests that I will be preparing to share with the entire community of Hive Gaming and Hive in general.

POPEYE - NINTENDO NES

A great game of the NES game console, with which I spent a lot of hours of play discovering levels and various antagonists that increased the difficulty of the game, basically we had to collect a specific amount of hearts, musical notes and various elements to complete the level, without being touched by the villain of the world in which we were playing, Of course we had the popular spinach to make us strong and finish with our enemy, I think the game could use a remake, adding small entertaining battles with ongoing rivals, or some Power UP, including more rivals in each scenario, of course, retaining all the essence of the original game.

Being an 8-bit game, there wasn't much we could ask for, but we still had a great time beating each level, so I imagine that a remake with some inclusions would make it an even more entertaining game than it was back in the day.

MARIO KART 64 - NINTENDO 64

An incomparable classic, of which I would like to see and enjoy a remake with a much higher quality than the one we enjoyed at the time on the N64, and I know that there are some versions of Mario Kart on other game consoles, but a Remake is a radical improvement of quality to a video game, retaining its aesthetics, game levels and characters, in short keeping the original story of the game and only improving its audiovisual quality.

image.png

Although the graphic quality of Mario Art 64 is quite acceptable, I think that in a remake improvements could be made in gameplay aspects, incorporating a battle system and online racing mode with more than 4 people, even with an option of "Time Trials" with world rankings in real time, adding a level of competitiveness at exorbitant levels, is one of my favorite games, and enjoy it on larger scales, for me it would mean a lot, hopefully someday I will have the joy of reading one of these news.

MIGHTY FINAL FIGHT - NINTENDO NES

One of those great classics that filled me with illusion, mainly by the diversity of possibilities, Power Ups and difficulty levels that the game was presenting, in all aspects Mighty Final Fight was far above other titles of the genre, those street fights were very epic, a game that would lend itself, and in fact cries out for a remake, being possible to include great diversity of options, such as combos of blows, special abilities, and adding a couple more worlds or some extras after the end of the game, even adding a cooperative multiplayer mode or in an online mode.

Those who were able to enjoy this game from the Nintendo NES, will understand why I say that this is one of the best street fighting games there was at the time, its colorful system, musical atmosphere and many other aspects very well worked were reason enough to be positioned as a great work of the 8 bits, which undoubtedly would be something quite epic in an improved version for both classic gamers, as for current gamers.

The classic games were the starting point for everything we know today, so a remake is more than a second chance, a remake becomes a tribute to the games that were taken as examples to follow by all developers worldwide, without those classics, perhaps the games would have another perspective and our childhood would not have been as great as it was.

Los Remake que me gustaría ver

PORTADA.png

Franja RETRO.png

BLOGGING DAY.png

MIGHTY FINAL FIGHT - NINTENDO NES

Saludos!
