Hello Hive family and Gamers of the community. Today I come with the desire to tell you a funny story, this happened in my childhood thanks to a video game that many people know. I will ask you a question, have you ever been scared by a video game that is not meant to scare people? Well, it may be a ridiculous question, but in my case, it has a very elaborated answer with its explanations.
This is going to be one of the funniest posts I will present to your family haha because the video game I will talk about next is bizarre in front of my eyes, as a child I developed a trauma because of the elements it contains, I am not talking about a baiting trauma, no no no, it is more like a healthy trauma that will haunt me for the rest of my life.
Ok the video game in question is a life simulator, it is very famous in the Gaming community, today some people are crazy about the fifth installment, yes gentlemen it is a franchise with 4 more video games, the saga of which I will talk about is the saga of The Sims, specifically I will talk about Sims 2 the second installment of this great life simulator.
How is it that such an innocent video game can scare me so much?
I will give a little context to my older brother @joheredia21 and my cousins, they love the video game The Sims, you know the video game that you can create a doll identical to you, the goal of the game is to make your character happy satisfying their needs, doing activities, creating a family, getting a job, getting a promotion at work, traveling to space, making a clown laugh, starving your enemies, getting kidnapped by a green skin fan club, having lots of girlfriends (no lie that's in GTA), you know the typical stuff.
The Sims came out in the year 2000 exclusively for pc, then in 2004 appeared Sims 2 for pc, as well as for desktop consoles, PlayStation 2, Gamecube and Xbox, in this last console is where we are going to focus for a change. It turns out that in those years my cousins and my older brother acquired the video game Sims 2 for Xbox, this console still had its disc reader in good condition, perhaps my older brother did not play it much, who else I remember that played it was @epilatero.
I remember he recreated a part of our family in the game. Now before moving on to what scares me about the videogame, I must mention that according to experts Sims 2 is the most bizarre videogame of all the saga because of the countless amount of weird things that can happen in our game, in the original game there is a glitch that can damage the entire game deforming all the graphics of the game.
However, the main culprit of all my trauma with this game is thanks to the Aliens, these green-skinned beings make their debut in this second installment, it is one of the bizarre things that the game has. The goal of the Aliens is to establish their ADN little by little on planet earth, you know how they do it, well yes, by adducing our sim to do experiments with him or her, once he or she comes back if he or she comes back because there is a chance that he or she will never come back, our sim will be pregnant with an Alien and with that we will get alien children.
Anyway, after putting some more context I will explain what happened to acquire the trauma, one day my cousin epilatero was playing well at ease to Sims 2 on my classic Xbox, at that time I was about 5 or 6 years old, casually my cousin realized that one of the sims was taken by aliens (I do not remember which), then when I found out, I did not avoid thinking what would happen if one night the aliens take me, from that moment I grabbed an intense fear of that game.
The event scared me so much that thanks to him as a child I could not sleep alone, or even worse to be alone in a dark open place gave me a lot of terror, I remember that I could not be alone at my aunt's house in the apple tree, for me as a child it was a pretty big house and I could not imagine being alone there hahaha.
Well, it's because of that simple element that I have a trauma of terror to Sims 2 haha, another thing that scared me about that game was its loading screens, those screens were images of the sims doing activities, but I don't know why I found those screens disturbing.
The last bizarre thing I remember that happened in those games, was that once my cousin was playing normal and out of nowhere a bed caught fire, I don't remember if he managed to put out the fire, but the reason why it caught fire is still a mystery. Can you imagine sleeping peacefully in your bed and out of nowhere it starts to catch fire, I don't know about you guys, if that happens to me, I'll go to another city hahaha
But well Sims 2 has many bizarre things, for example, their deaths, some are normal, but others can traumatize a child, such as a case of dying burned where the sim instead of staying with the body on the ground, the body simply disappears, another case is drowning where you can see the body of the deceased sim floating in the pool for a long time, attacked by a pack of flies, this happens if you do not clean the house and the flies in an act of rebellion eat our character until they leave him in the dust.
Many more deaths and one thing come to the other because the Grim Reaper for me in the Sims 2 version is the most terrifying and intimidating, especially for how he makes an appearance, imagine if that would visit you at 3 am, I don't know if I would live to tell it haha.
All the expansions add strange characters, for example, the plant sims for me are very rare and easy to kill, there is a character that does not give me a good feeling and the sad clown, this appears if we buy a painting whose theme is a crying clown, after a while, the clown will appear when our sim is sad to worsen the situation, I imagine the scare that a person can give if he sees that there is something that comes out of the wall of his house.
There is also a mod that adds a clown that sets fire to the whole house, I do not remember the name, but the way to summon him is simple, you have to buy a toy figure of him and just interact with it once and he will come to life and start setting fire to the house with his flamethrower.
Finally, I want to talk about the old trailers before the video game was released. The first trailer is about a couple, the guy tries to create intimacy, but the girl doesn't let him until she rips off her blouse and lets her ...... qualities come to light for the man. In another scene of the same trailer the young men grow up and get married, the man carries the woman, he gets tired of carrying her, the woman doesn't tolerate that so she takes off her dress and lets her attributes back in the air.
The second trailer is about two scientists making a model of a miniature flying saucer, out of nowhere the saucer comes to life and lets out two aliens each with an antenna in hand, the strange thing is the reaction of the scientists, they when they see the antennas put their hands behind if you dream from behind .... what I find unheard of is that one of the scientists points to his partner and the aliens grab them by both arms while the other escapes without a trace.
The third and last trailer is about a prince who tries to woo a woman in a red dress, this woman is very well detailed thanks to the movement of her.... skills... this girl rejects the prince because she has a lover, nothing more and nothing less than the lady who cleans, the two plan to leave, not if before seeing an old man interested in the two women, anyone would think the old man is male until he changes clothes to wear the same dress of the lady who cleans, and well the three leave happily together.
It's the weirdest trailer I saw of the three.
Well Hive family, I hope you liked this special post, this is a great videogame, but I don't want to see it even in a painting, I was about to play it twice, both on Xbox classic and PlayStation 2, but I refused, and I even think I was the one who intentionally lost the disc of that game hahaha.

Este va a ser uno de los post más graciosos que les presentaré familia jaja, porque el videojuego que les hablaré a continuación es bizarro frente a mis ojos, de pequeño desarrollé un trauma por los elementos que contiene, no hablo de un trauma cebero, no no no , es más bien un trauma sano que me perseguirá toda la vida.
Ok el videojuego en cuestión es un simulador de vida, es muy famoso en la comunidad Gaming, hoy en dÃa hay gente que está loca por la quinta entrega, si señores es una franquicia con 4 videojuegos más, la saga de cual hablaré es la saga de The Sims, concretamente hablaré de Sims 2 la segunda entrega de este gran simulador de vida.
¿Como es que un videojuego tan inocente puede darme tanto miedo?
Voy a dar un poco de contexto mi hermano mayor @joheredia21 y mis primos, les encanta el videojuego The Sims, ya saben el videojuego que puedes crear a un muñeco idéntico a ti, el objetico del juego es hacer que tu personaje sea feliz satisfaciendo sus necesidades, haciendo actividades, creando una familia, conseguir trabajo, tener un ascenso en el trabajo, viajar al espacio, hacer reÃr a un payaso , hacer que se mueran de hambre tus enemigos, ser secuestrados por un club de fans de piel verde, tener muchas novias (no mentira eso es en GTA), ya saben lo tÃpico.
The Sims salió en el año 2000 exclusivamente para pc, luego en 2004 apareció Sims 2 tanto para pc, como para las consolas de sobremesa, PlayStation 2, Gamecube y Xbox, en esta última consola es donde nos vamos a enfocar para variar. Resulta que en aquellos años mis primos y mi hermano mayor adquirieron el videojuego Sims 2 para Xbox, esta consola todavÃa poseÃa su lector de disco en buenas condiciones, tal vez mi hermano mayor no lo jugaba mucho, quién más recuerdo que lo jugaba era @epilatero.
Recuerdo que el recreó una parte de nuestra familia en el juego. Ahora antes de pasar con lo que me da miedo del videojuego debo mencionar que, según expertos Sims 2 es el videojuego más bizarro de toda la saga por la innumerable cantidad de cosas raras que pueden ocurrir en nuestra partida, en el juego original existe un glich que te puede dañar el juego entero deformando todos los gráficos del mismo.
Sin embargo, el principal culpable de todo mi trauma con este juego es gracias a los Extraterrestres, estos seres de piel verde hacen su debut en esta segunda entrega, es una de las cosas bizarras que tiene el juego. El objetivo de los Extraterrestres es establecer su ADN poco a poco en el planeta tierra, saben cómo lo hacen, pues si, aduciendo a nuestro sim para hacer experimentos con él o ella, una vez vuelve si es que vuelve porque hay una posibilidad de que no vuelva nunca más, nuestro sim estará embarazado de un Extraterrestre y con ello obtendremos niños extraterrestres.
En fin luego de ponerles algo más de contexto les explicaré lo que pasó para que adquiriera el trauma, un dÃa mi primo epilatero estaba jugando bien a gusto a los Sims 2 en mi Xbox clásico, en ese entonces yo tenÃa como 5 o 6 años, casualmente mi primo se dio cuenta de que uno de los sim fue abducido por los extraterrestres (no recuerdo cual), entonces cuando me enteré, no evitaba pensar que pasarÃa si una noche me llevan los extraterrestres, desde ese momento agarre un miedo intenso a ese juego.
El acontecimiento me daba tanto miedo que gracias a él de pequeño no podÃa dormir sólo, o peor aún estar sólo en un sitio abierto oscuro me daba mucho terror, recuerdo que yo no podÃa estar sólo en casa de mi tÃa en el manzano, para mà de pequeño era una casa bastante amplia y no me imagino estar sólo allà jajaja.
Bueno es por ese sencillo elemento que le tengo un trauma de terror a los Sims 2 jaja, otra cosa que me daba miedo de ese juego eran sus pantallas de carga, esas pantallas era imágenes de los sims haciendo actividades, pero no sé porque me parecÃan perturbadoras esas pantallas.
La última cosa bizarra que recuerdo que ocurrió en esas partidas, era que una vez mi primo estaba jugando normal y de la nada se incendia una cama, no recuerdo si logró apagar el fuego, pero la razón por la cual se incendió sigue siendo un misterio sin resolver. Se imaginan estar durmiendo tranquilos en su cama y de la nada se empiece a incendiar, no sé ustedes eso me llega a pasar y me voy a otra ciudad jajaja.
Pero bueno Sims 2 tiene muchas cosas bizarras, por ejemplo, sus muertes, algunas son normales, pero otras pueden traumar a un niño, tal es el caso de morir quemado donde el sim en vez de quedar con el cuerpo en el suelo, pues simplemente el cuerpo desaparece, otro caso es morir ahogado donde se puede ver el cuerpo del sim fallecido flotando en la piscina por un largo rato, atacado por una manada de moscas, esto ocurre si no limpias la casa y pues las moscas en un acto de rebeldÃa se comen a nuestro personaje hasta dejarlo en polvo.
Muchas muertes más y una cosa llega a la otra, pues la Parca para mà en la versión de Sims 2 es la más terrorÃfica en intimidante sobre todo por la forma en la cual hace acto de presencia, imagÃnense si eso te visitara a las 3am, yo no sé si vivirÃa para contarlo jaja.
Todas las expansiones añaden personajes extraños, por ejemplo, los sims planta para mà son muy raros y fáciles de matar, existe un personaje que no me da buena espina y el payaso triste, este aparece si compramos un cuadro cuya temática sea un payaso llorando, luego de un tiempo el payaso aparecerá cuando nuestro sim esté triste para empeorar la situación, yo me imagino el susto que una persona se puede dar si ve que hay algo que sale desde la pared de su casa.
Existe un mod también que añade un payaso que incendia toda la casa, no recuerdo el nombre, pero la forma de convocarlo es simple, hay que comprar una figura de juguete de el y sólo bastaré con interactuar con la una vez para que cobre vida y empiece a incendiar la casa con su lanza llamas.
Por último, quiero hablar de los tráileres viejos antes de que saliera el videojuego a la luz. El primer tráiler se trata de una pareja, el chico trata de crear intimidad, pero la chica no sé deja, hasta que sede, ella se arranca la blusa y deja que sus…… cualidades, salgan a la luz para el hombre. En otra escena del mismo tráiler los jóvenes crecen y se casan, el hombre carga a la mujer, este se cansa de cargarla, la mujer no tolera eso asà que se saca el vestido y vuelve a dejar al aire sus atributos.
El segundo tráiler se trata de dos cientÃficos haciendo un modelo de un platillo volador en miniatura, de la nada el platillo cobra vida y deja salir a dos extraterrestres cada uno con una antena en la mano, lo raro es la reacción de los cientÃficos, ellos cuando ven las antenas ponen sus manos por detrás, si soñares por detrás…. lo que me parece inaudito es que uno de los cientÃficos señala a su compañero y los extraterrestres los agarran por los dos brazos mientras que el otro se escapa sin dejar rastro.
El tercer y último tráiler trata sobre un prÃncipe que intenta cortejar a una mujer con vestido rojo, esta mujer está muy bien detallada gracias al movimiento de sus…. destrezas… está chica rechaza al prÃncipe porque tiene un amante, nada más y nada menos que la señora que limpia, las dos planean irse, no si antes de ver a un anciano interesado en las dos mujeres, cualquier persona pensarÃa que el anciano es masculino, hasta que se cambia de ropa para ponerse el mismo vestido de la señora que limpia, y pues los tres se van felices juntos.
Es el tráiler más raro que vi de los tres.
Bueno familia de Hive, espero que les haya gustado este post especial, este es un gran videojuego, pero realmente mi persona no lo quiere ver ni si quiera en una pintura, estuve a punto de jugarlo dos veces, tanto en Xbox clásico como en PlayStation 2, pero me negué, e incluso creo que fui yo el que perdió de forma intencional el disco de ese juego jajaja.
