Hola Gamers ¿Cómo están? Espero que estén super bien y sean bienvenidos a una nueva publicación hecha por mí. Hoy les quiero hablar de uno de los videojuegos que más disfruté de pequeño en mi Nintendo DS, es un videojuego de carreras, la verdad cuando empecé a tener mi DS hace como diez años siempre veía que todo el mundo lo jugaba, ese videojuego estaba de moda por esos años, al menos en mi barrio.
El videojuego en cuestión es Asphalt Urban GT 2 Un videojuego de carreras para la Nintendo DS que me dio muchas pero muchas horas de diversión y le tengo un gran cariño a este juego, básicamente mis gustos por los autos y las carreras callejeras empezaron a manifestarse cuando jugué este juego por primera vez, de ahora en adelante jugué cada videojuego de carreras que tuve a mi disposición.
Los controles y las gráficas me parecían excelentes jaja, ahora que lo veo en un emulador puedo notar que este videojuego ya es algo viejo jaja, sobre todo porque ahora se notan más los pequeños errores gráficos que veía de pequeño, por ejemplo, había una camioneta (creo que era de los policías) la cual tenía un error grafico en sus cuatro ruedas, este error hacia que se viera como si una flecha saliera debajo de la camioneta, no sé es algo difícil de explicar, pero si molestaba bastante la visión.
Más allá de eso el juego era excelente para mis ojos por aquellos años, toda persona que tenía un DS ya sea de cualquier modelo tenía y jugaba este juego, su jugabilidad es super divertida y también daba bastante risa, mis primos y yo siempre nos reíamos cuando usábamos una moto y la chocábamos contra una pared para que el conductor saliera volando por los aires jaja, como el juego tiene muchos errores gráficos pues también se podría hundir en la tierra o quedarse pillado en una pared, incluso los autos normales del tráfico si los chocabas salían volando como palomas jaja.
La jugabilidad es muy sencilla y divertida, el objetivo era quedar siempre de primer lugar en todas las carreras de circuito, en todas las pistas había botellas de nitro que te podían ayudar a ganar la carrera, propulsando tu auto a velocidades bestiales, tanto así que podías chocar sin querer jaja, otra cosa que te puedes encontrar son los iconos con el símbolo “$” esas cosas te dan dinero, aunque la mejor forma de ganar dinero en una carrera es destrozando a los demás rivales o los policías, lo malo es que si llegabas a chocar con algo podías perder una cantidad importante de dinero.
Los controles son super sencillos, aceleras en el botón “A”, usas el freno en el botón “B”, usas el nitro en el botón “X” o también en el botón “Y” o incluso en al “R”, el “L” no recuerdo para qué se usaba, supongo quera para girar la cámara, lo que no hay es freno de mano, pero la realidad es que es innecesario porque la idea de este juego es ir super veloz.
Hay varios tipos de carreras en el juego, por dar un ejemplo, tenemos las carreras de eliminación que si llegas de último en una vuelta te eliminan, también esta el modo cacería (uno de mis favoritos) el cual se basa en destrozar a los demás competidores hasta que llegar a cierta cantidad de puntos, las carreras de persecución donde usamos un auto policía y las carreras contra reloj que es llegar del punto A al punto B en un límite de tiempo, sin contar la carrera normal claro.
Lo que más recuerdo de mi experiencia jugando a Asphalt Urban GT 2 es la posibilidad completar el juego y tener tu propio garaje, digamos que este modo sería como el modo carrera, en este modo puedes comprar a todos los autos disponibles de igual forma los puedes vender si quieres, aparte también se puede usar motos en el juego, creo que eso lo tomé como una innovación o algo por el estilo ya que cuando era pequeño nunca había jugado un videojuego de carreras con motos.
Ese modo carrera lo jugué muchas veces a lo largo de vida de mí vida, creo que lo he pasado unas 10 veces o algo así, no es broma jaja, este modo servía para desbloquear todos los vehículos en el modo arcade y también todas las pistas, también recuerdo que habían autos especiales, recuerdo como lucen, uno era un camión de basura que era bastante incomodo de manejar jaja, también había una especie de moto futurista y unos autos que parecían unos peluches, también recuerdo que constaban un pulmón y un ojo de la cara desbloquearlos.
Me gustaba mucho tener a todos mis autos favoritos en un mismo garaje, si piensan jugar al juego y tratar de completar este modo carrera, siempre van a empezar con el Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS, este auto les va ayudar mucho al principio, incluso se pueden pasar el juego con él, pero lo más interesante siempre es comprar autos de mejor calidad jaja.
Por otro lado, todos los autos tienen carrocerías ya tuneadas, por ejemplo, Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS tiene dos carrocerías, una de ellas era verde que me gustaba mucho usar, la otra era como gris con detalles en azul, esta última era la favorita de mis primos, también se le podía cambiar los rines a las ruedas y las luces de neón que van por debajo.
Para acabar, otra cosa que nos da es Asphalt Urban GT 2 es la posibilidad de usar los autos policías, podemos hacer persecuciones con estos autos, atrapando criminales y hacer una puntuación determinada, en lo personal no jugué mucho a este modo ya que me perecía aburrido ser policía, ni siquiera teníamos la posibilidad de usar un helicóptero cosa que si aparece cuando somos los perseguidos.
Aún recuerdo el soundtrack de este juego, siempre era el mismo y nunca cambiaba jaja, lo más frustrante que recuerdo es que para conseguir un auto debías comprarlo si o si en el concesionario, no voy a decir que marcas de vehículos salen ni que modelos de autos aparecen porque duraría una eternidad, pero algunos autos tenían el precio por las nubes , la mejor forma de conseguir dinero como bien dije es hacer caos por toda la ciudad, cosa difícil también por todos los choques que te pueden pasar, una vez perdí casi el 75% del dinero en usa sola carrera en dos choques jaja.
Bueno Gamers, espero que les haya la publicación de este día, Asphalt Urban GT 2 lo disfruté muchísimo en mi Nintendo DS, si no es el videojuego que más jugué en esa consola pues pega en el palo, no recuerdo mucho de este juego, sólo diré que me dio bastantes horas de diversión cuando no tenía energía eléctrica o estaba en el doctor jaja.

The video game in question is Asphalt Urban GT 2 A racing video game for the Nintendo DS that gave me many but many hours of fun and I have a great affection for this game, basically, my tastes for cars and street racing began to manifest when I played this game for the first time, from now on I played every racing video game I had at my disposal.
The controls and graphics seemed excellent, haha, now that I see it in an emulator I can notice that this game is already something old haha, especially because now you notice more the small graphical errors that I saw as a child, for example, there was a truck (I think it was the police) which had a graphical error in its four wheels, this error made it look as if an arrow came out under the truck, I do not know is something difficult to explain, but it bothered the vision quite a lot.
Beyond that the game was excellent for my eyes in those years, everyone who had a DS of any model had and played this game, its gameplay is super fun and also gave a lot of laughter, my cousins and I always laughed when we used a motorcycle and crashed it into a wall so that the driver flew through the air haha, as the game has many graphical errors it could also sink into the ground or get stuck in a wall, even normal traffic cars if you crashed them flew like pigeons haha.
The gameplay is very simple and fun, the goal was to always be the first place in all circuit races, on all tracks there were nitro bottles that could help you win the race, propelling your car at beastly speeds, so much so that you could crash without wanting haha, another thing you can find are the icons with the symbol "$" those things give you money, although the best way to earn money in a race is destroying the other rivals or the police, the bad thing is that if you hit something you could lose a lot of money.
The controls are super simple, you accelerate on the "A" button, use the brake on the "B" button, use the nitro on the "X" button or also on the "Y" button or even on the "R", the "L" I do not remember what it was used for, I guess it was to turn the camera, what there is no handbrake, but the reality is that it is unnecessary because the idea of this game is to go super fast.
There are several types of races in the game, to give an example, we have the elimination races that if you come last in a lap you are eliminated, there is also the hunting mode (one of my favorites) which is based on destroying the other competitors until you reach a certain amount of points, the chase races where we use a police car and the races against the clock that is to get from point A to point B in a time limit, without counting the normal race of course.
What I remember most from my experience playing Asphalt Urban GT 2 is the possibility to complete the game and have your garage, let's say that this mode would be like the career mode, in this mode you can buy all the cars available in the same way you can sell them if you want, besides you can also use motorcycles in the game, I think that I took it as an innovation or something like that because when I was little I had never played a racing game with motorcycles.
That career mode I played many times throughout my life, I think I've passed it about 10 times or so, no kidding haha, this mode was used to unlock all vehicles in arcade mode and also all the tracks, I also remember that there were special cars, I remember how they look, one was a garbage truck that was quite uncomfortable to drive haha, there was also a kind of futuristic motorcycle and some cars that looked like stuffed animals, I also remember that consisted a lung and an eye of the face to unlock them.
I liked having all my favorite cars in the same garage, if you plan to play the game and try to complete this career mode, always start with the Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS, this car will help you a lot at the beginning, you can even pass the game with it, but the most interesting thing is always to buy better quality cars haha.
On the other hand, all cars have tuned bodies, for example, Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS has two bodies, one of them was green that I liked to use, the other was like gray with blue details, the latter was the favorite of my cousins, you could also change the rims to the wheels and neon lights that go underneath.
To finish, another thing that gives us is Asphalt Urban GT 2 is the possibility of using the police cars, we can make persecutions with these cars, catching criminals and making a certain score, personally, I did not play much to this mode since it seemed boring to me to be police, we did not even have the possibility of using a helicopter thing that if it appears when we are the persecuted ones.
I still remember the soundtrack of this game, it was always the same and never changed haha, the most frustrating thing I remember is that to get a car you had to buy it if or if in the dealership, I will not say that brands of vehicles or car models appear because it would take forever, but some cars had the price sky-high, the best way to get money as I said is to make chaos throughout the city, which is also difficult for all the crashes that can happen to you, once I lost almost 75% of the money in a single race in two crashes haha.

Los Asphalt nunca fueron mi tipo de juegos, pero si probé algunos y no estuvieron mal. La NDS no deja de ser una consola fiable incluso en esta época. No serán los mejores gráficos, pero probablemente tengas catálogo para mucho mucho tiempo.
Epale, te recomiendo que al menos completes este juegazo, yo tampoco soy muy fan de esta saga, pero como dije en mi infancia influyó bástate esta entrega de Nintendo DS, extraño jugar con esa consola, lastima que se me daño el micrófono, cosa fundamental para videojuegos como Mario Party u otros que hablaré más adelante jaja.
