I didn't think that being able to play Elder Ring on my PC was possible, but it was. Obviously not in the most comfortable way possible, since in some parts of the map there were small jerks. I could play comfortably in medium graphics, unless there was some part of the map quite demanding that made some jerks. To get a better, somewhat smoother gaming experience, I set the graphics as low as possible and tried various resolutions. 1440x900, 1280x720, even the minimum of 800x600, resolution that I discarded since visually it looked quite horrible and the performance it gave me was absolutely the same as in the previous resolutions. Between 1440 and 1280 I didn't notice too much difference, in both the game flowed quite well.

At first I was quite skeptical, I thought my pc was going to explode when I tried to play it without the recommended requirements, but it worked very well. Should you underestimate your computer? Of course you shouldn't underestimate it. Even so, I understand that the minimum requirements that the game dates is the necessary amount of power that your pc needs so that you can have a very good experience without any inconvenience in the lowest configurations, inconvenience that I had some times when I had some jerks.
The first thing I did was to make a small Stream on discord, @therealflaws was there and said it looked great, I was still surprised by how good the game looked even in minimum graphics. I decided to go for a Prophet, a class I had no idea about, but it looked pretty good visually, kind of scary and Zombie styled. Just like in almost every game where I can customize my character, I decided to make a girl. The first time I didn't customize my character too much, I will tell you later how was my experience with Elden's customization.
After choosing the name of my character my adventure began. I'm not going to lie to you, I didn't pay too much attention to the story, I just know that the things the game shows you have a very good art, everything is quite dark and scary. For some reason I associated it with Scarlet Nexus, I don't know, I feel like it has a certain aesthetic.
You start off inside a room or room, where you're given a little tutorial or something like that. Then you advance a little further and you come across a bridge where your first boss awaits you. They say that the game is designed to make you lose on purpose at that moment, but there are those who have been able to beat that boss, obviously I died immediately. I must admit that I was scared when I saw it, I also screamed a lot hahaha. At first I knew that the game would not be easy.
To be honest, this kind of games don't fascinate me, I don't find them bad either, I would say that dying over and over again is not something that is too much fun for me. The challenge that these games imply I understand, it's not a game for everyone, it's not a game that is like the others either, it's a game that requires some learning, learning patterns, dodge a lot, die a lot, get up and keep trying. I've played a couple of Souls but I don't think I've ever finished any of them, I just remember playing them and some interesting things. Beyond that, it seems to be a very good game.
I used my keyboard and mouse to play it. At the beginning I found it quite uncomfortable, later I could get used to it, although sometimes I confused the dash with the jump and ended up dying like a stupid. Believe me, the first day I played it I died more than 50 times. Well, that's also my fault for trying to go after the big guys that in order to defeat them required a higher level.
Throughout the extensive map you can find many resources that you can use to craft other things. In my little start I met a merchant who sold some interesting stuff, at least I think so hahaha, I never bought anything from him. In order to buy stuff you need runes, which runes you get by fighting and killing creatures(not sure if you get them any other way). Every time I set a goal to get certain runes to buy various things that looked interesting, in my creature smashing adventure, I died. Something always happened, from being attacked by 8 wolves simultaneously to being torn apart by an unexpected boss. In order to get to a boss you have to go through some kind of yellow barrier(I didn't know that, poor me).

I had a bit of fun exploring certain corners, seeing how nice and extensive the game is, even dying, although I decided to save this game for when I'm calmer, lately I have a lot of downloaded games that I haven't dedicated the time they need and they really interest me much more than Elden Ring. Later, maybe in a couple of months I'll go back to Elden Ring to complete it and fully master those bosses sons of ****.
There are many things and items to obtain in this game, many runes to collect, weapons to upgrade, builds and classes to try. If you want a challenge and you haven't played any Souls yet, then I think this would be the right game for you to play.
After a while playing I wanted to try another class, so my new character would be a confessor. I have no idea what the perks of that class are either, but I really liked his outfit, plus he had a sword and shield that I thought looked better than my previous character.
Here is where I wanted to try all the customization that this game contains and the truth is that facial features left me quite surprised. I think I tried everything, even with exaggerations in the face, I thought that was great.

The negative point of this is that we will barely be able to see our character's face, he will always have his armor on, he also covers his head for more protection, so I don't feel that customization in this game is too important, but it is interesting. There are a lot of things you could do, you just have to take your time and you will probably create your ideal character. I decided to go for a Waifu, I really liked the result.

And this is how I finish my Elden Ring post. I know it's not the most complete post in terms of game content, in fact I couldn't beat any boss, you could say I know only 9% of the game and it's been thanks to Youtube videos and memes. Being one of the first Souls that I actually decide to play, I must say that I liked the experience, but honestly it's not my kind of game. As I said before, later on I will dedicate a lot of time to all the games of this style and force myself to finish them, it would be my challenge as a gamer. No pensé que poder jugar Elder Ring en mi pc fuese posible, pero lo fue. Obviamente no de la manera más cómoda posible, ya que en algunas partes del mapa existían pequeños tirones. Podía jugar cómodamente en gráficos medios, a no ser que hubiese alguna parte del mapa bastante exigente que hiciera algún tirón. Para conseguir una mejor experiencia de juego, algo más fluida, coloqué los gráficos en lo más bajo posible y probé varias resoluciones. 1440x900, 1280x720, incluso la mínima de 800x600, resolución que descarté ya que visualmente se veía bastante horrible y el rendimiento que me otorgaba era absolutamente el mismo que en las anteriores resoluciones. Entre 1440 y 1280 no noté demasiada diferencia, en ambas el juego fluía bastante bien.

Al principio estaba bastante escéptico, creí que mi pc iba a explotar al intentar jugarlo sin los requisitos recomendados, pero si funcionó muy bien. ¿Debes de subestimar tu ordenador? Por supuesto que no debes de subestimarlo. Aún así, entiendo que los requisitos mínimos que el juego data es la cantidad de potencia necesaria que tu pc necesita para que puedas tener una experiencia muy buena sin ningún inconveniente en las configuraciones más bajas, inconveniente que yo tuve algunas veces al presentar ciertos tirones.
Lo primero que hice fue hacer un pequeño Stream por discord, @therealflaws estuvo ahí y decía que se veía de maravilla, yo aún estaba sorprendido por lo bien que el juego se veía aún en gráficos mínimos. Decidí ir a por un Profeta, clase de la que no tenía ninguna idea, pero se veía bastante bien visualmente, algo tenebrosa y con estilo de Zombie. Así como casi en todos los juegos en donde puedo personalizar mi personaje, decidí hacer una chica. La primera vez no personalicé demasiado a mi personaje, ya luego más adelante las contaré como fue mi experiencia son la personalización de Elden.
Después de elegir el nombre de mi personaje empezó mi aventura. No les voy a mentir, no le presté demasiada atención a la historia, solo sé que las cosas que te muestra el juego tienen un arte muy bueno, todo es bastante oscuro y tenebroso. Por alguna razón lo asocié con Scarlet Nexus, no lo sé, siento que tiene cierta estética.
Empezamos dentro de una sala o cuarto, en donde se nos da un pequeño tutorial o algo parecido. Luego avanzas un poco más y te encuentras con un puente en donde tu primer boss te espera. Dicen que el juego está diseñado para que pierdas apropósito en ese momento, pero hay quienes han podido vencer a ese jefazo, obviamente yo morí inmediatamente. Debo de admitir que me asusté cuando lo vi, también grité bastante hahaha. A primeras supe que el juego no sería nada sencillo.
Siendo honesto, este tipo de juegos no me fascinan, tampoco me parecen malos, diría que morir una y otra vez no es algo que sea demasiado divertido para mi. El reto que estos juegos implica lo entiendo, no es un juego para todos, tampoco es un juego que sea como los otros, es un juego que requiere de cierto aprendizaje, aprender patrones, esquivar mucho, morir mucho, levantarse y seguir intentando. Yo he jugado un par de Souls pero creo que jamás he terminado alguno, solo recuerdo haberlos jugado y algunas cosas interesantes. Más allá de eso, parece ser un juego muy bueno.
Utilicé mi teclado y mouse para jugarlo. Al principio me pareció bastante incómodo, más tarde pude acostumbrarme, aunque a veces confundía el dash con el salto y terminaba muriendo como un estúpido. Créanme, el primer día que lo jugué morí más de 50 veces. Bueno, eso también es mi culpa por intentar ir a por los chicos grandes que para poder derrotarlos requerían de un nivel más alto.
A través del extenso mapa puedes encontrar muchos recursos que puedes utilizar para craftear otras cosas. En mi pequeño comienzo conocí a un mercader que vendía algunas cosas interesantes, al menos eso creo yo hahaha, nunca le compré nada. Para poder comprar cosas necesitas runas, cuyas runas se consiguen luchando y matando criaturas(no estoy seguro de si se consiguen de otra forma). Cada vez que me ponía la meta de conseguir ciertas runas para comprar varias cosas que lucían interesantes, en mi aventura para destrozar criaturas, moría. Siempre pasaba algo, desde ser atacado por 8 lobos simultáneamente hasta ser destrozado por un boss inesperado. Para poder llegar a un boss debes de pasar por una especie de barrera amarilla(yo no sabía eso, pobre de mí).

Me divertí un poco explorando ciertos rincones, viendo lo bonito y extenso que es el juego, incluso muriendo, aunque decidí reservar este juego para cuando esté más tranquilo, últimamente tengo muchos juegos descargados a los que no le he dedicado el tiempo que necesitan y realmente me interesan mucho más que Elden Ring. Más tarde, tal vez dentro de un par de meses regrese a Elden Ring a completarlo y dominar completamente a esos jefes hijos de ****.
Hay muchas cosas e items que se pueden obtener en este juego, muchas runas que recolectar, armas que mejorar, builds y clases que probar. Si quieres un reto y aún no has jugado a ningún Souls, entonces creo que este sería el juego indicado que debes de jugar.
Después de un rato jugando quise probar otra clase, así que mi nuevo personaje sería un confesor. Tampoco tengo ni idea de las ventajas de esa clase, pero me gustaba mucho su indumentaria, además de que tenía una espada y un escudo que a mi parecer lucían mejor que los de mi anterior personaje.
Acá es donde quise probar toda la personalización que contiene este juego y la verdad es que a rasgos faciales me dejó bastante sorprendido. Creo que probé de todo, incluso con exageraciones en el rostro, eso me pareció genial.

El punto negativo de esto es que apenas podremos ver el rostro de nuestro personaje, siempre tendrá su armadura puesta, también se cubre la cabeza para más protección, así que no siento que la personalización en este juego sea demasiado importante, pero es interesante. Hay muchas cosas que podrías hacer, solo debes de tomarte tu tiempo y probablemente crees tu personaje ideal. Yo decidí ir a por una Waifu, me gustó mucho el resultado.

Y así es como culmino mi post de Elden Ring. Sé que no es el post más completo en cuanto a contenido del juego, de hecho no pude vencer a ningún jefe, se podría decir que conozco solo el 9% del juego y ha sido gracias a vídeos de Youtube y memes. Al ser uno de los primeros Souls que realmente decido jugar, debo decir que me gustó la experiencia, pero sinceramente no es mi tipo de juego. Como ya lo dije antes, más tarde le dedicaré mucho tiempo a todos los juegos de este estilo y me forzaré a terminarlos, sería mi reto como jugador. Estoy seguro de que seguiré viendo algunos vídeos acerca de este juego y más contenido acerca de él. Sin más, nos vemos en la siguiente mis boomers!

Sabía que debía de dejarle la barba, fuck. La barbita le daba el toque op que se merece. Y si, creo que es cuestión de acostumbrarse y de aprenderse bien los controles en el teclado. Con mando la precisión al moverse no es la misma(al menos para mi) y bueno, vi a un montón de gente cayéndose al vacío por esa misma razón. Con el teclado y el mouse se controla demasiado bien la cámara y es casi imposible caerse al vacío. Tal vez salga la versión para bajos recursos, el juego modificado sin sombras y sin tanto renderizado a los alrededores. Idk. Ojalá puedas jugarlo, la experiencia es bastante buena.

I've stopped playing Elden Ring for now. I want the game to get some more patches first. But I fully intend to get back to it and play it properly the moment it stops jerking around, even if it takes me the whole year! 💪🤣
I didn't know that there were also jerks in high-end hardware. That sucks. I blamed my poor pc for that hahaha, although anyway if it's true that my gpu needs a bit more power, but I guess with those patches the experience would improve a lot. 🤠

It is, it is a game where the combat is incredible. It's a game that at first glance may seem like it's not fair, but I think it's a bit realistic in the sense of combat. I mean, in real life if we were to face monsters of that magnitude, I'm sure it wouldn't be easy at all.

El tema de las características de la PC me parece fundamental porque asumo que con el estrés que ya genera de por sí, el temita de que te tironeé te debe jugar bastante en contra.

Si, sin duda arrancaría con este. Los demás no me han llamado la atención, sé que son buenos y para nada son malos juegos, pero ninguno me enganchó tanto como este juego.
