Let me tell you that the game I'm going to tell you about next is a work of art in all its glory, this game is loaded with action, action and guess what, more action.
If you love indie action games, you've come to the right place.
Hotline Miami is an indie action game that was launched in mid-2012.
Hotline Miami is not a well known game despite being a bestiality in every respect. It has simple, yet addictive sections that will give you hours and hours of fun. Without further ado, let's start with the review.
Story
StoryThe Hotline Miami story begins in our apartment. Our character, Jacket, will wake up to a voice mail about an alleged cookie delivery.
After we get that message, we'll leave the house and find a mystery package. Will it be the cookies?
The answer is no. We won't find cookies, inside the package we found a rooster mask as well as some instructions. These instructions talk about doing a robbery and recovering a case.
The instructions will tell us that we will have to kill some criminals who possess this case. After we managed to recover the case, a man who has no home or family will try to aggressively take the case from us, he needed what was in the case. Our character, Jacket, kills him in self-defense. Overwhelmed by what he did, he takes off his mask and vomits.
After what happened, we will continue to receive voice mails from missions that we will have to fulfill.
Gameplayability
GameplayabilityMiami Hotline has something tremendous that makes us addicted to it. It has 15 chapters full of action and blood. In each chapter we can decide on a type of mask to wear all the way through.
The controls it has are simple but quite polished to tell the truth. In each chapter we will find different scenarios through which we will have to move to kill all our enemies. In each chapter we'll find a final boss that we'll have to defeat and we can find objects that will help us to advance in our story.
How many weapons will we be able to use? Let me tell you that we will have a huge variety of weapons at our disposal, both melee and from a distance.
Everything I've said translates into perfectly addictive mechanics and a lot of violence.

Visual Section
Visual SectionThe theme of this game has many eighties aspects, in fact, the story is narrated by those years.
The visual section of this game is impressive for the time, making it one of the best games of the year for me. In 2012 there were a lot of huge games with more current themes and a new 3D visual section, so Hotline Miami was not very seen at that time, but the game is totally worth it.
The game is elaborated with many psychedelic colors that change between them, giving an eighties atmosphere that makes its pixelage noticeable.
Soundtrack
SoundtrackThe music is just amazing. It has a wide variety of electronic themes that change with each chapter. You can't imagine how great it is to go around blowing our enemies' heads off over and over again with this music. The music is very well leveled, so we can also hear the sounds, like the cracking of brains and the shooting.

ExtraHotline Miami is a game, I recommend it 100%. You'll enjoy it, you'll always remember it, and you'll probably end up playing it again in your free time.

Si eres de los que aman los juegos de acción indie has llegado al lugar correcto.
Hotline Miami es un juego de acción indie que fue lanzado a mediados del año 2012.
Hotline Miami no es un juego muy conocido a pesar de ser una bestialidad en todos los aspectos. Dispone de apartados sencillos y simples pero adictivos que te darán horas y más horas de diversión. Sin más dilación, empecemos con la review.
Historia
HistoriaLa historia de Hotline comienza en nuestro apartamento. Nuestro personaje, Jacket, se despertará al recibir un mensaje de voz que habla sobre una supuesta entrega de galletas a domicilio.
Luego de recibir dicho mensaje, saldremos de casa y encontraremos un paquete misterioso. ¿Serán las galletas?
La respuesta es no. No nos encontraremos con galletas, dentro del paquete nos encontramos una máscara de gallo además de unas instrucciones. Dichas instrucciones hablan sobre hacer un robo y recuperar un maletín.
Las instrucciones nos dirán que tendremos que asesinar a unos delincuentes que poseen dicho maletín. Después de lograr recuperar el maletín, un hombre que no posee hogar ni familia intentará quitarnos el maletín de forma agresiva, necesitaba lo que contenía el maletín. Nuestro personaje, Jacket, lo asesina en defensa propia. Abrumado por lo que hizo se quita la mascara y vomita.
Luego de lo sucedido, seguiremos recibiendo mensajes de voz de misiones que tendremos que cumplir.
Jugabilidad
JugabilidadHotline Miami tiene algo tremendo que nos vuelve adictivos a él. Posee 15 capítulos llenos de acción y sangre. En cada capítulo podremos decidir por un tipo de máscara que usaremos durante todo el trayecto.
Los controles que posee son sencillos pero bastante pulidos a decir verdad. En cada capítulo nos encontraremos con distintos escenarios por los cuales deberemos desplazarnos para matar a todos nuestros enemigos. En cada capítulo nos encontraremos con un jefe final que deberemos de derrotar además de que podemos encontrar objetos que nos servirán para avanzar en nuestra historia.
¿Cuantas armas podremos utilizar?, Déjame decirte que dispondremos de una variedad enorme de armas cuerpo a cuerpo y a distancia.
Todo lo que he dicho se traduce en mecánicas perfectamente adictivas y mucha violencia.
Apartado Visual
Apartado VisualLa temática de este juego tiene muchos aspectos ochenteros, de hecho, la historia está narrada por esos años.
El apartado visual de este juego es impresionante para la época, siendo así uno de los mejores juegos de ese año para mí. En el 2012 había una cantidad de juegos inmensos con temáticas más actuales y apartado visual 3D novedoso, por lo cual Hotline Miami no fue muy visto en ese entonces, pero el juego vale totalmente la pena.
El juego está elaborado con muchos colores psicodélicos que cambian entre sí, dando una atmósfera ochentera dando a notar su pixelaje.
Banda Sonora
Banda SonoraLa música es simplemente increíble. Cuenta con una amplia variedad de temas electrónicos que cambian en cada capítulo. No se imaginan lo genial que es ir por ahí volando cabezas una y otra vez al ritmo de esta música. La música está muy bien nivelada para que también escuchemos los sonidos, como el crujir de los sesos y los disparos.
Extra
ExtraHotline Miami es un juegazo, te lo recomiendo al 100%. Lo disfrutarás, lo recordarás siempre, además de que seguramente en tus ratos libres termines regresando a jugarlo.
