Century: Age of Ashes finally has some news on the PlayStation release and Season 2!

As always I'll be dropping votes for people in the comments who either subscribe to my channel, like my videos on YouTube, comment on them or all three. Just let me know in the comments to this post if you did any of those!

On this channel I focus on free-to-play gaming.

Behind the scenes

Now this is the kind of content I enjoy liking. Reviews and guides are fun as well but making this kind of content that's covering the latest news about a game was really fun. I'm definitely going to be doing more of this going forward. The games I'm focusing on just need to release more news. I also really miss Century: Age of Ashes. Such a shame there's not a lot happening with the game right now to create content about. Hopefully that will change once they release it for PlayStation and can start focusing their resources on developing content for the game itself.

This is also the quickest video I've made. Much of that comes down to the fact that there's barely any editing involved, but I also kind of stressed making it because I didn't want to be late in delivering these news to the community. Since there's no footage to show off about the new stuff happening I just put a match I played recently in the background. As simple as.

Life is kind of hectic lately so I haven't had time to make this behind the scenes post until now. In the meantime the video has been live for three days and it's currently my third best performing video. I really like this system where YouTube ranks your videos based on how long they've been live and compares the stats to your other videos when they had been live for just as long. This means that out of my twelve videos in total this is my third best in terms of performance.

And I guess it's gonna be like that when covering news. People want to know about news as it happens and it gets them curious. Guides are valuable but they might take longer to perform well. Guides are also evergreen content which can keep on performing for years while news content like this looses its relevance once the next piece of news drops. People watch guides when they need them and not when they see them.

Once again dropping the thumbnail here to be able to use it as thumbnail for the post.

Since there's not much happening in the games I'm currently focusing on my next few videos will be reviews of some new games I've been playing. I'm dropping a video about Super People later today and I'm gonna start making a video about Multiversus as well. I'm really excited to start playing the latter. It looks like so much fun even though I always end up hard raging at games like that. I also want to check out Rumbleverse at some point. There's so many cool looking games in the free-to-play space right now I don't have time to bite over them all.

For now enjoy this video and I'll see you soon for my review on Super People!

I watched the vid on your Youtube channel and left a like comment and subscribed. The game looks pretty good .Im surprized its taken so long to see a good aeriel dragon combat game. It makes me think of Panzeer Dragoon which I believe was way back in the Sega Saturn days.

Thank you! I haven't heard of that game before. Even though it reminds you I bet it looks quite different since it's form the Sega age :P

Yeah it was way back in the late 90s ,its the only other game I know of where you fly on a Dragons back.

I thought this game released in Windows after PlayStation. Well flew there in the video and nice to see your updated performance at YouTube.
Looking forward to your review on Super People.

At least the game is still coming to PlayStation, too bad they didn't give an exact date yet. I'm hyped to finally play it, that's for sure.

Did you see that Phantasy Star Online 2 is coming to PlayStation as well? I know it's a F2P MMO that's been out on PC for a while, but I haven't played a Phantasy Star game since Universe 2006 on Xbox 360. I'm actually really excited to try this one out, it looks so cool.

Getting the news out first will net you so many views that wouldn't have happened had another video gotten out first. I found that to be the case whenever I was one of the first people to post hands-on reviews of that new PlayStation Backbone Controller. Most of my videos have less than 100 views, but both of those had over 10k. Slowed down now that the news isn't fresh, but it was doing great that first week or so.

I really hope the game will surge in popularity when it releases for PlayStation.

Being first with news is definitely important. I was watching some interviews with the people who work on the algorithm and they said that for every view you get on a video YouTube will recommend that video to 7 other people within the next week. Getting those initial views is definitely important to ensure those recommendations. It’s a snowballing effect.

It should boost it quite a bit I’d say, then all they have to do is start providing more new content.

I think I got lucky that a lot of people were hyped about the new product and there was like zero information about it out there. The snowball effect sure is exciting whenever a video does do well. It’s just so much work providing news quickly as a solo creator. It’s difficult to keep up with teams of creators that share the work.

carrots on a stick :) yup!

yay for playstation!

I guess those guys are just some facebook lovers like in taylor swift's song.. :P

Haha, maybe. I hope they get better at communicating in the future.

Your channel continues to progress well, my friend. I watched your super people video and I think it's gonna hit over 500 views. It's good that there are so many good games, because you can make videos according to which one gets the most views on your youtube channel. 162 subscribers is pretty good!

The super people video is bombing right now so I'm not sure. There's a a lot of competition for that game with the biggest creator putting out videos. Shroud and Dr Disrespect and more. I wanted to see how I could compete and I guess the answer is not good.

You can never compete with such big publishers or content producers. The only way to get good views is to publish your video before everyone else.

Wasn't aware of this game, looks quite smooth. Matchmaking and playlists are very important and of course a penalty system. Halo Infinite has been trying to patch itself up for a long time now, maybe this game will develop a hard-core scene?

I hope the game picks up when it releases for more consoles. We'll just have to wait and see.
