I do a bit of backtracking during this episode which eventually leads to progress. I guess it's a one step backwards two steps forward situation. I still get pummeled pretty hard by the increased difficulty of the world. I don't know if I should decrease the difficulty again or what... I just feel like I'm past the point of where I want to beat my head against a wall. I'd rather just progress and finish the game at this point.
We also find a strange machine that lets us interface with some mind vessels. I'm not quite sure what those are but it seems to be the conscience of some people that's been uploaded to a device that makes us able to communicate with them. I make the choices I feel are the right ones in the dialogue but it doesn't really give us much. I guess we have to come back to this every now and then to get their full story. Really weird.
I also finally managed to open the second pathway from the Arcology. This is the pathway I could have chosen earlier when I chose to go to the Ikari Walkways. Will be exciting to see what this area has in store for us. It starts out with the lowest tier of enemies which is a bit disappointing...
