I tried replaying this a while ago. It was a game I never beat as a kid so I wanted to get revenge. I gave it up once again. I found the controls to be really unresponsive. I had so many stupid deaths I just couldn't bother. Awesome that you're playing through this. I left off in the caves where you drive the mine-cart. A few levels after.

What are you playing it on? I find it to run smooth (besides some emulator lag now and then) on RetroArch and using the emulator higan I think it was.
